I contacted Pacific Refrigeration on 5/about a wacooler for my own small businessI explained that we needed several large items including an evaporator coil, compressor, etcThe receptionist took down my contact information and said the service manager would be in touchHe ( Scott I believe his name was) returned my call shortly thereafter and we made an appointment for 5/He mentioned to me about a service call chargeI explained to him I just need them to come out and evaluate the situation and give me a price to fix or replace whatever was necessarySensing it was a large job, he agreed to waive the trip chargeHis service tech shows up on time 5/and evaluated the situationHe made his determination and said they would be in touch with the estimated costHe then says I need to pay for the service call! I explained to him, I spoke with Scott and that Scott said the charge would be waivedHe called Scott with me nearbyHe offered Scott the chance to speak to me directly, however he refused! Instead he instructed the tech to just leave! As he was leaving I asked him am I still going to receive an estimate? He replied that this got off to a bad start, so no estimate will be coming! I can't recall worse customer serviceI'm glad I found this out BEFORE I became a customer
I contacted Pacific Refrigeration on 5/19 about a walk-in cooler for my own small business. I explained that we needed several large items including an evaporator coil, compressor, etc. The receptionist took down my contact information and said the service manager would be in touch. He ( Scott I believe his name was) returned my call shortly thereafter and we made an appointment for 5/31. He mentioned to me about a service call charge. I explained to him I just need them to come out and evaluate the situation and give me a price to fix or replace whatever was necessary. Sensing it was a large job, he agreed to waive the trip charge. His service tech shows up on time 5/31 and evaluated the situation. He made his determination and said they would be in touch with the estimated cost. He then says I need to pay for the service call! I explained to him, I spoke with Scott and that Scott said the charge would be waived. He called Scott with me nearby. He offered Scott the chance to speak to me directly, however he refused!
