however, need to know if a customer is not satisfied and is requesting their money back on a particular job. Unfortunately we were not aware that Mr. [redacted] was not satisfied with our work and wanted a refund. Our last communications with Mr. [redacted] was on 9/15/15 where he left us with the impression that he was satisfied with our services. The Revdex.com communications was received 2/17/16 informing us that he was not satisfied with our service and was seeking a refund. Had Mr. [redacted] called our office directly to request the refund, he would have received it. I contacted Mr. [redacted] on 2/17/2016 after receiving communications from the Revdex.com on the same day. His refund was issued the following day (2/18/2016).

Our inspector [redacted] communicated with Mrs. [redacted]. She did not speak with Mr. [redacted] until he called to inquire about the charges several months after the initial service. Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] previously had our YearRound protection plan (2013). When [redacted] spoke with Mrs. [redacted] regarding her cricket issue,...

they discussed the options. A one-time cricket service is $250 plus tax and covers only crickets. The YearRound plan that Mrs. [redacted] previously signed up for covers over 30 different pests including crickets; the initial charge is $175 plus tax and then continues at $36 per month per tax with a credit card. Mrs. [redacted] opted to go back on to the YearRound protection plan. Mrs. [redacted] option for the YearRound plan is consistent with the information on not accepting checks. Customers must put a credit card on file for our YearRound program and Mrs. [redacted] provided [redacted] with a credit card over the phone.   This complaint was filed by Mr [redacted], who I suppose was not aware that his wife had opted for the YearRound plan in her discussions with [redacted]. When Mr. [redacted] called, the original inspector, [redacted], spoke with him and explained the situation, and per his request, cancelled the account. At this point, Mr. [redacted] had paid $247 plus tax ($175 plus $36 plus $36) which was close enough to the original $250 for the one-time service. Our inspector therefore felt that the issue was resolved as there would be no additional charges, even though our services performed was for several pests and not just the crickets. We have no issue refunding the two $36 charges for this account, however Mr & Mrs. [redacted] need to understand that somewhere there was a communications breakdown. We feel that it was between Mr and Mrs [redacted]. At no point do we feel that we did anything inconsistent with what was requested by our customer. We will credit the customer’s credit card $77.04 and inform them of this credit.
