Willow Lake Apartments office cannot state they do not know whose vehicle it is because the vehicle license was included in the application I filled out when I got the apartmentThe vehicle cannot be considered abandoned when there are two carseats for my young children are in itMy question is, what if I was on vacation or out-of-town during those days when the notice was posted what excuse would they have for thatThere was no work on the parking areas in the complex for two to three months, and the parking area in question was already done earlier in the summerThe apartment office should have considered sending notice again after months of no work on the parking areas in the apartment complexAs I stated before in my complaint, I was sick and has been in my apartment the whole timeIf notice had been sent to all tenants in the complex, I would have my vehicle movedNo able to know whose vehicle it is was not a good excuse, because what is the point of requesting for vehicle license number as part of application fill-out before getting the apartment?

I am rejecting this response because:
Every time I received a notice from willow lakes I would go down to the office with confusion to why I received themThe first notice was mistakenly given to us and was promised to be taken off record but later I found out wasn'tAny notice about drug activity was dealt with because it was only concerning a slight odor of marijuana which is perfectly legal. The manager ,***,said if I give her my rec then she would leave us aloneI gave her the rec and she never got back to me .After about a month I went to get it back and she had lost it ,she also stated that she did not believe it was legit even though it was given to me by a licensed doctorWe did have occurrences where our tv was up a little loud and was on the floor when we first moved in and our downstairs neighbor complained and we fixed itI have never been disrespectful to a neighbor or other tenant .I have never been disrespectful to the people in management either My apartment was not ready when I moved in and I wanted the repairs .Their were multiple safety hazards in the house such as a hanging chandelier from a wire and no screens on any windowsI complained about this almost every week for months till I knew nothing would happen. After trying to get in touch with the supervisor for almost weeks he finally showed up at my door at an unexpected time he demanded I let him in to take pictures of the whole house I respectfully told him he couldn't without a he notice and that we were leaving soonHe got angry and said he would be back tomorrow to take picturesHe came back the next day and terminated our tenany I asked for a reason and he told me "we don't need one"The termination of our tenancy was upon retaliation We are fine with moving out because we don't want to live in this house with what they have done and the hardship they have put us through I just know that what they have done is wrong and willow lakes/jd homes has wronged many before .I just want a little justice

In accordance with California law and the terms of the lease, management has decided to terminate the leaseWe receive dozens of calls for maintenance on a daily basis and handle those requests promptly, most within hours of receiving the complaintOur decision has noting to do with maintenance requests being made by the tenant, but are due to the conduct of the occupants and their guests

I have investigated this issue and have formulated the following response: The Willow Lakes Apartment complex has had significant improvements to the parking lot take place for the past monthsAll tenants were advised prior to any work commencing that this improvement would take place and
that they must remain mindful of postings throughout the property informing tenants of when and where the work would be performedSince this is a continuation of the same work that has been taking place for months, no new notice was sentPrior to the vehicle in question being towed, notes were posted in the areas that were to be worked onWhen it was discovered that a car had not complied, the manager of the complex was contactedWhen the manager was unable to determine who's vehicle was out of compliance, a hour notice was posted on the vehicleWhen the hours was up and the owner of the vehicle could still not be determined, we were left to conclude that this was an abandoned vehicleAs the lease states, no abandoned or inoperable vehicles may be stored at the propertyWe feel that we have acted in good faith and within the confines of the law to have the vehicle movedUnfortunately, due to the vehicle owner not complying with the notice, other tenants were inconvenienced by work delays which prevented the surrounding spaces from being used for an extended period of timeDue to the efforts we have made, including notices and due diligence to find the owner, we cannot grant the claimants request to be reimbursed for the towing feeThe vehicle was towed as a last resort after all other options were exhausted

Willow Lake Apartments office cannot state they do not know whose vehicle it is because the vehicle license was included in the application I filled out when I got the apartment. The vehicle cannot be considered abandoned when there are two carseats for my young children are in it. My question is, what if I was on vacation or out-of-town during those days when the notice was posted what excuse would they have for that. There was no work on the parking areas in the complex for two to three months, and the parking area in question was already done earlier in the summer. The apartment office should have considered sending notice again after months of no work on the parking areas in the apartment complex. As I stated before in my complaint, I was sick and has been in my apartment the whole time. If notice had been sent to all tenants in the complex, I would have my vehicle moved. No able to know whose vehicle it is was not a good excuse, because what is the point of requesting for vehicle license number as part of application fill-out before getting the apartment?

Since the tenant moved in there have been numerous issues specific to the residents and their guests. The tenant has been disrespectful to the manager as well as other tenants. These tenants have been served notices for drug activity and loud music on more than occasion. Per the terms of the lease...

and California law, management has decided to terminate the lease.

Items inside of the car would not, in our experience, mean that the vehicle was not abandoned or inoperable. It is true that the asphalt in the section where the vehicle was had been put down months prior to the vehicle being towed, but the seal coat had not been applied. The asphalt crew has been laying down 10 tons of asphalt on a daily basis. Once that work was complete the asphalt had to be given time to settle and harden. Once it is hardened the seal coat must be applied to prevent wear, which is why the job was done in phases. Once the asphalt was done being laid down the maintenance workers went back to where they started the job and started seal coating the asphalt. The onsite Managers at Willow Lakes were unable to determine who the owner of the vehicle was. Please provide the paperwork from the tow company regarding the vehicle including any pictures the customer may have so the claims can be investigated further. Also please include the relation to [redacted], as that is the only person listed on the lease and therefore is the only person allowed to store a vehicle on the property for the unit number provided.
