as possible. Our customer service always responds quickly to any help emails, and works diligently to try and make things right whenever there is a problem. We welcome any comments or concerns and are always looking to improve.To address your complaint specifically, you traded in your game, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain for $60, and received $60 in credit. Less than a month later you received Super Mario All-Stars Limited Edition for $50 from another person on LeapTrade. Instead of trading in your game at a brick and mortar store and receiving much less than $60 and then going to buy Super Mario All-Stars Limited Edition for $50 elsewhere, you were able to get top dollar for your game and get another game you wanted. This is how LeapTrade is supposed to work. Unlike a store, we can’t always guarantee inventory for all games, but our users understand that’s a part of trading with other gamers in the community. Games become available as traders are finished with them and offer them for sale or trade on LeapTrade.For defective games, we don’t require the user to pay to ship it back, as that’s something that we handle. In the case of the FIFA 15 game that you are referring to here, you left positive feedback and made a deal with the seller who then paid you an extra $5.00 in LeapTrade credit over the original purchase price to make up for you needing to ship the game back. We apologize if there was ever any misunderstanding of what you should do when there is a defective game, but usually people will leave negative feedback and then LeapTrade will step in and resolve the situation. While we always recommend working it out with the seller just like you did, we wouldn’t want anyone to feel forced into paying return shipping to a seller.As for needing enough LeapTrade credit to purchase an available game that you’ve requested, we understand that the process was not ideal, but was designed to be a balance between the buyer and the seller. We realized that there was room for improvement in this process and have since made changes so this no longer occurs. In our newest release the process has been updated so you don’t need to have LeapTrade credits in advance, and you will only be required to make up the difference when the game is being shipped to you. On the issue of the refund you are requesting, we will work with you to address any purchase of credits you made where you felt you had to purchase them, but later didn’t receive the game as expected. Based on our records you are still using the site, and so we will try to reach out to you directly. We wish you had contacted us to try and help resolve the situation before it reached this point, but we also understand where you are coming from and are committed to working with you to make things right.
