I submitted a complaint to you and because the terrible company said whatever you closed itwhat kind of place are you? I was ripped off and I write you and you could care less

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

What you requested when you came in was an Air Conditioning diagnostic. To 'diagnose" an Air Conditioning issues, we have a specialized machine.... it helps us diagnose issues, but it isn't the same sort of 'diagnostic' machine you see at Auto Zone.   It does NOT have a printout....

The specialized air conditioning machine puts a vacuum on your system to identify if your AC components (compressor, condenser, evaporator, dryer) were working properly.  It has a job (vacuum, reading pressures, capturing and measuring refrigerant etc), but in order to truly diagnose the AC, a mechanic needs to be able to interpret the values he/she sees on/within the machine and the car.  This takes between 45 minutes to an hour.  Our hourly rate for our mechanic's time is $85, but we price AC diagnosis at $69.95.  We put on your receipt the following information "FOUND THAT THE CLUTCH HAS TOO LARGE OF AN AIR GAP AND WILL NOT ENGAGE THE COMPRESSOR -- HAS POWER AND FREON". So it has refrigerant, has power, but your compressor will not come on. In addition to that info, we gave you an estimate (which you requested, in order to compare to the estimate you got from Tuffy) for the clutch and the compressor.   This is NOT something that a machine can 'see'... this is what the mechanic, who spent time putting the AC machine on your car, notices with a visual inspection when the vacuum was put on.  This is precisely what you pay for.... for a mechanic to diagnose your AC system. The charge is CLEARLY explained at the front desk.  There is a sign next to the cash register, in an acrylic frame, explaining EXACTLY what you are paying for when you ask for your AC to be looked at.  I've attached the sign to this response.  I'm also attaching your receipt, which clearly states what we found out.  "There is an AIR GAP in the clutch that will not allow the AC clutch to engage". YOU SIGNED THE RECEIPT.  Telling us we didn't tell your what was wrong with your car is not the truth.   There is no 'printout' but we printed on our receipt what our technician found after diagnosing your system.  I'm sorry you were unhappy with your experience, but we ARE honest, trustworthy, clean and safe. We provided you with a professional opinion of your AC system as requested. There is a sign at the desk telling you specifically what you're paying for with an AC diagnosis.

Revdex.com Case # [redacted]
The information Mr. [redacted] gave concerning the issue with the return of his escrow is true. However, Mr. [redacted] did not offer the following facts:
The name on the contract was [redacted] the name on the check that Mr. [redacted] turned into...

[redacted] Realty for his escrow deposit was [redacted] with a different address than the [redacted] address on the contract. Mr. [redacted] did not make any changes to the check when he offered it.
Mr. [redacted] had a previous contract on this same property under the name of [redacted]. and used a check with the name of [redacted] and the same address. He also canceled  that contract and [redacted] Realty Inc., returned the deposit check to the name and address on his check.
When Mr. [redacted] chose to cancel this second contract, [redacted] Realty Inc., once again returned the deposit to the name and address on the check that was given as a deposit. It is our policy to return the deposit to the person that gives us the deposit regardless of the name and address on the contract. We are of the opinion that the monies we receive from anyone should never be returned to anyone other than the original depositor. We wrote the check to [redacted] and mailed it to the address on the check. It was only discovered that this was an incorrect address after the check had been sent out. Mr. [redacted] told the Real Estate agent he was working with that he had not received his deposit. She then contacted the office to see if we had sent his check, which we had. Once the information was relayed to Mr. [redacted], he asked where we had mailed the check to and when informed that it went to the address on the check he gave us, he told his agent that he had not lived at the address for over 2 years and did not think it would be forwarded to him at his current address. (When asked why he was writing checks with an old address, he informed us that it cost money to have checks printed. It certainly doesn’t cost anything to mark out the old address and write in the correct one.) Mr. [redacted] requested a new check. We could not offer a new check as we had not received the original one back from the post office as non deliverable and he would have to wait until the check was returned. He waited approximately 2 weeks and we still did not have the check returned to us nor had it been returned to out bank. Again we stated that unless we received the check back, we could not write a new one. It was than that Mr. [redacted] decided that [redacted] Realty Inc. was at fault for him not receiving his deposit and was insistent we owed him another check and he wanted that day by 5pm. He was informed that if he wanted another check issued than a stop payment would have to be made on the original and that it would be at his cost since he turned a check to us with the incorrect information on. He refused. It was then that Mr. [redacted] made his threats of calling the Revdex.com and the VAR to file complaints against the company. Even though [redacted] Realty Inc., did nothing wrong in any of its transactions and dealings with Mr. [redacted], out of respect for agent and in an offer of good faith, a stop payment was issued on the original check and a second check was issued and mailed to Mr. [redacted], he  obviously still felt compelled to file this complaint.  We continue to feel strongly that we have done nothing wrong in this situation and owe Mr. [redacted] nothing further. And for the record, the original check has yet to be returned to [redacted] Realty, Inc.
