Our Director of Customer Relations Joe spoke to Mr*** (son) and explained that we had already cancelled out the projectHere are his notes: I explained that during our Sales Process we do not discriminate based on ageIf a homeowner is able to understand the Solar Program, sign the
agreement, and do a third party (recorded) validation call than we move forward. Mr*** understood and realized we didn't take advantage of his father. I sent him the email address for *** *** for him to send a reply to her letting her know he spoke with me. I also explained that we would be responding to the Revdex.com as well

Our Director of Customer Relations Joe has been in contact with this homeowner to try to understand his concerns and rectify any issuesJoe has reviewed Mr*** electric usage as well as his PSE&G bills and has checked the production from the solar system that we engineered and
installed on Mr*** home for comparison purposesJoe also worked with an engineer to check the solar panel performance compared to the utility company's billingAfter reviewing all of these factors, it is accurate to say that the panels are working properly and in fact, the homeowner is over-producing powerIt has been determined, however, that the bi-directional meter from the utility company (PSE&G) is not reading the back feed from the panels (net metering)The findings suggest that PSE&G must go out to Mr*** home to replace the bi-directional meterWe are still working on this case and are in contact with the homeowner to provide our findings as well as being in contact with the utility company to be sure this is addressed and the meter is changed outWe hope to have this resolved within the next several weeks, but a resolution is contingent upon cooperation from the utilityIf there is any way for us to provide an update in several weeks once we see this all the way through, that would be greatly appreciatedKindly let me know when we will have the opportunity to provide an update

Our Director of Customer Relations spoke with the homeowner *** ***He explained the solar agreement and the program to her and she now has a better understanding of the solar program she signed up for, how solar works, and how the billing works with her agreement

We are having trouble reaching this customerOur Director of Customer Relations Joe called and left messages on September 11th, September 14th, September 28thJoe also sent a text on September 20th with his phone number so that the customer could call him backWe will continue to reach out and
try to contact Mrs***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
Regards,
*** ***

Just wanted to inform you that this complaint has been resolved. Shirin of Momentum Solar helped us immensely. Thank you.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Since the conversation I had with the business representative, I came to understand that the monthly fee included not only solar panel installation, but also the actual fee for electrical power usage, which was $30 less per month than my father currently pays. While I personally would love to have solar panels, my father won't be living in the house long enough to reap the benefits, nor is he the sole owner and in a position to make such a decision /  commitment.  The will is still in probate and we have no date when it will be resolved.Thank you for resolving the misunderstanding so quickly.Sincerely [redacted]

this complaint is actively being resolved with the company. I would like to dismiss this action with the Revdex.com.

After the customer (Ms. [redacted]) signed the solar contract in June 2015 and Momentum Solar went out to do a Shading Analysis and measure the roof, it was determined that we were only able to fit a system that would be four less panels (not eight) than the Solar Specialist had initially...

calculated. The homeowner’s boyfriend worked for Momentum Solar during this time, and he was aware of this change, as he was on the installation crew that installed the system on Ms. [redacted] home. During the installation of the solar panels, a vent pipe on the roof was incorrectly cut. Unfortunately, we were unable to get in contact with Ms. [redacted] until recent weeks, despite making attempts to reach her and leaving messages, which is partially why the project has taken so long. We have made several attempts to send our licensed plumber to fix the vent issue, but unfortunately the homeowner has cancelled each time we schedule an appointment to fix it, except for the one time we had to cancel because of rain. We have made another appointment for our licensed plumber to go back to the home to fix the vent on Saturday January 7th.  We have offered to compensate the homeowner for her inconvenience.
