(The following was copy/paste by Revdex.com staff * ***Good morning in response to the complaint number *** *** her vehicle was towed in on January 30/ from an accident she did come in the following day to retrieve her personal belongings stated that the accident was the other
persons fault and there insurance would be taking care of it We never heard from *** after that we had a phone number that was no longer good no insurance ever came in to retrieve and or look at this vehicle this vehicle was then filed by the L.C.S.Don 03/20/during all the time the owner *** had still not called about vehicle or anything she finally called in about the vehicle after she had received letter from the L.C.S.DWhich the date she called was 04/05/at that point she had accumulated the initial tow winch out cleanup and storage of days at this point so yes she had fees she stated that insurance was supposed to have taken care of explained to her this had not happened as of this date From my understanding she also had called and spoke to the officer who does the filing for abandonment and he to explained to her that she should have been following up with insurance if she did have insurance and that he could not stop as the car had been here for so long She could have paid the fees and gotten her vehicle she refused The officer brought us the affidavit for the vehicle on 04/10/so she had more than enough time to have gotten the vehicle out as it had been here from01/30/until the affidavit was receivedWe are very sorry she feels we were rude or scammed her but we did not she had a large amount of time to have retrieved her vehicle or sorted things out with an insurance company The officer may be able to shed more light I am not sure I will attach ahis name and phone number if you would like to reach out to him as well he is the one who filed the vehicle with the state of O hio he may be able to explain how and what is needed for him to this Deputy *** *** ***All policys were followed with the vehicle unfortunately the owner was not following through to make sure the vehicle was properly taken care of any further questions please feel free to contact us at ***
