On July 24th I spoke with a guest by the name of *** *** She had concerns in regards to her BillWe went over the bill in detail, and *** repeatedly asked me why she was being charged twiceI explained to *** that when she checks in we swipe a credit card and authorized the
expected amount for the remainder of her stayAt that point we went over her itemized Bill; it totaled $for her balance dueThis made her grand total $*** had booked the great escape packageThe escape package included Dinner for two each night and the Mountaineer breakfast buffet dailyI noticed that they had charged ***'s dinners to her roomAt this point I adjusted the charges off which totaled $This now brought her grand total to $She agreed that this was correct but stated that she was double chargedI then asked *** *** to please log into her bank account and show me where she was double charged*** *** used the computer in the business center and printed out her bank activityWhen she brought it back to the desk we then looked at it together and she then realized the "charge" she was questioning did in fact read "Pending Authorization"She then apologized for the confusionAfter receiving the statement from the Revdex.com on Friday August 12th, I looked further into the stay of *** *** She called back on Tuesday July 26th and spoke with *** in reservationsThere was an additional credit applied to *** *** card $The additional credit of $then brought the entire stay for *** *** down to the amount of $602.51, less the amount she is stating that she would have owedI have attached proof of both of these credits in this response
