Wilson Motor Company Reviews (2)

To whom it may concern:According to our internal records, the customer purchased a Ford Fusion from Wilson Motor on July 16, 2015. A few days or weeks prior to this purchase, this same customer signed and purchased a used Lincoln Navigator from us, and due to personal reasons,
asked us to unwind the deal and return the vehicle. In an effort to keep our customer happy, we agreed to help them out by allowing them to return the Navigator and purchase a different vehicle instead. When purchasing the Navigator, we made it very clear to the customer that in order for him to get approved on a loan, a $down payment was required. Once the Navigator was returned and financing was prepared for the Fusion, we indicated that the same requirements applied to this purchase as the previous one. While the phrase "$down payment" may not have been specifically spoken, it was implied. I have attached a copy of the motor vehicle contract of sale for reference, with two different locations containing a $down payment requirement at line and in the "seek arrangements for financing" section of the contract. Both the customer and his co-applicant signed and dated the contract, indicating that they read and understood the terms of the contract. While we did allow the customer to leave the dealership without making the down payment on the day of the purchase, we have since adjusted our policies and no longer allow customers to leave the lot in their new vehicles until the down payment is received. With regards to the repairs that had to be done, everything that was brought to our attention was dealt with and repaired in a timely manner. Customers generally understand that they are buying used vehicles as/is, and no other repairs or fixes are required unless otherwise agreed to in writing at the signing of the deal. No such agreements were made with this customer, and even though no other repairs were promised, we went above and beyond in repairing the vehicle for the customer. The customer still proceeded to leave an unsatisfied review online, in addition to filing this claim with the Revdex.com. It is disheartening to realize that no matter how hard you try and how much you go above and beyond to help a customer, situations like this still occur. We would ask the Revdex.com to dismiss this complaint so that it won't unfairly and inaccurately represent our good, honest business. Thank you for your help and the opportunity to share our side of the story.Sincerely,Erin W***Customer Relations Manager***@wilsonmotor.com

Tell us why here...On December 22, said Customer did visit our pre-owned super storeHe was greeted by one of our client advisors and indicated he was interested in a Nissan Frontier. They located the said vehicle and went on a test driveOn said test drive customer wanted to try out
the 4WD systemAdvisor indicated that he could but needed to switch it right back as roads were dry because there had been no snow or weather on said day or the days before, 4WD is not like AWD, and can damage vehicle if driven on dry roads. After they returned to dealership Customer asked advisor what he thought his Ford Escape with 86,miles would be worth on tradeAs with all trade possibilities, advisor and customer drove, and tested all equipment on customer’s vehicle. During the trade evaluation the driver’s window was found to have some issues, as it would go down but would not come back up. Customer got upset saying advisor should have not messed with his windows. Customer indicated that windows had ice on them, but all other windows had no issues and no ice. There had been no snow or ice on said day or the night before, as the low that night was degrees and the high was degrees. The advisor then got the sales manager and tried to talk with customer and explain that we could pull his Escape into our shop and diagnosis what the problem was at no charge, and what it would cost to fix it. We have been in business for years and always offer a pleasant buying, trading and service experience
