Paid 461.09 up front for XRay services, My insurance EOB showed I only should have paid 40.00. Have been trying to get refund for 5 months.
9/24/2019 I was at WNJ/Sherman Grayson Hospital LLC for outpt. XRay services.I was to told to pay 461.09 up front even though I have BC/BS ins. I was told if it resulted in an overpayment I would get a refund. 11/11/2019 I brought my BC/BS EOB and Receipt of pmt of 461.09 to the business office and spoke with Mary, who made copies and said she would call back with an expected payment date. After no return call, I called Mary 11/13/2019 who said she would again call me back by the following friday. Again, I had to be the one to initiate contact. 11/21 I called the Pt. Advocate Charlotte. She filed her own version of my complaint and promised that the situation would be handled within 30 days. Here we are 5 months later...I have talked with my insurance carrier rep. who did her best to resolve the refund issue and still no word from this hospital. Not only have they lost a paying customer for the rest of her life, but any chance I get I relay warnings to anyone trying in good faith to use this hospital. I will provide copies of receipts and EOBs on request.
