Regards,

The response that I have read is NOT trueThe very first time ** *** company was called, his brother came to check out the well because, yes we didn't have water and no we didn't know what was wrong with itHis brother told us that it was the wire and that it didn't need to be replaced, however, it could just be "fixed"He proceeded to fix the wire and NEVER did he check the well pumpNever did we receive a bill either from his company
months later, again we didn't have water againSo again I called *** *** and was told that we never paid for the first visitAt that time I informed him that had I received a bill it would have been paid to which I paid the bill over the phone when I was told how much it wasThis time his brother was not sent to correct the problem because we were told that the jobs that he was sent on he was not doing a good job and he was just giving him something to do because he felt bad for him and he needed a jobSo he apologized for this
So again, he sent him men out and they just repaired the wire and checked the pump and found the wire to be broken on the pump, but the pump was still goodAt no time was I ever told that the wire needed to be replaced, but just could be repaired so that is what was done
It was the next visit months later again, that caused all the problems when the wire, which was replaced and I purchased separately, was replacedAnd yes, I did provide a pump to which was provided by my brother who is a licensed contractor in the state of VirginiaHowever the pump which was purchased by my brother was bad and so I did purchase a pump from *** ***So when I had no water again, I called ** *** to come out since I did purchase the pump from him to see what the problem was, he was very rude and nasty about the fact that he was NOT willing to come out to check the problem for freeNot once did I EVER NOT pay a bill that I have received from him or his companyBut I was told that if it was the pump, I would have to have it pulled out and brought to his office and he would have NO problem replacing itBut he would not come out to pull the pump out or check any other problems for free
I am not satisfied with his office managers responseI did call another well company who gladly fixed our problem and will NEVER have to worry about using Wilson Well Drilling company everever again
Thank you

I'd like to share my experience this year with Wilson Well Drilling We own a home with a year old well We knew the well casing was corroded and had plans to drill a new well, obtained the permit, and it was just a matter of time Then, the water slowly began to dry up (we thought) It went from a trickle to no water at all We thought the well had caved in I had called another company I was referred to, and played phone tag for a few daysThe company I was referred to could not come out for weeks, even though I told them I had no water (it was the busy season for well maintenance), I had no referral to Wilson Well, but I took a chance and called, on a holiday, Labor Day, because I just didn't know what to do, leaving a voicemail that I had no water I got a call back from the owner, Joe W***, immediatelyHe was sympathetic and kind, and said he had jobs all week, but he would be there within one to two days to come up with a plan and get me water by the end of the week He came out, determined the well pump was bad, and gave me my options He explained to me that it hadn't dried up, but that we had a bad water pump He told me I could certainly have a new well drilled I had the permit and he double-checked the physical location as marked by the county and its proximity to the septic, etc He suggested we try replacing the pump first, though, that he would use a pump that would work in the existing well, or could be used in a newly-drilled well, and if we still wanted to go that route afterward, we could He told me if we replaced the well pump, there was a way to address the corrosion on the well casing He explained that just because the well was years old alone did not mean that it needed to be replaced, and if replacing the well pump and addressing the corrosion worked, we could save thousands of dollars He did not use pressure tactics and I felt educated and empowered to make a decision I let him replace the water pump As the old, broken water pump came up from the bottom of the well, the big rings of corrosion that came out were dismaying Once the new pump was installed in the existing well, we had water again! Then, I had Wilson Well come back out to address the corroded well casing They successfully used a packer to encapsulate the corroded casing We are so happy we called Wilson Well! Joe W*** and his employee, Wes, were kind and professional, and took care of us fast and fair when we were in a great time of need Try to imagine having no water in your house It's best not to get to that point, of course, but these are the guys to call if you have a situation with your well, and you want someone you can trust who will take care of your situation or emergency in an informed and fair way They told me estimates up front and the invoices were in line with what we discussed I'm so glad I called them and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone needing well service

The problems that Ms*** is having is related to filter issues, not well issues We do not guarantee water or the quality of water as stated on our contracts, however we do refer our customers to a very reasonable company who can help them select the proper filtration system for their water
It's unfortunate that the ***'s are having water issues, but we do not install filter systems on any wells to help with their problem If they would like the name and number of the filtration company that we recommend, I would be more than happy to forward that information on to them

Everything that we used to tie in the the new well to your house was new If there was a rock, it was most likely already in the line that we tied into The existing pipes were already full of sand and silt before anything was drilled or hooked up We are sorry you have experienced this type of problem Please let us know if there is anything else you need.

Dear *** ***
This letter is being sent in response to complaint
ID #***Along with this response, yoU will find copies of invoices to detail the work performed for the customerThese invoices will be referenced in the statement below as "service calls #1, #2, and #3"
Since starting this company in 1995, we have never had any issues with work performed and have always prided ourselves in making sure we leave our customers satisfied and more than happy to use our services in the futureIn March of 2010, we were asked by *** *** to service her wellShe had a
complaint of no waterShe informed us at that time that "her brother" was sure the problem was a broken wire
The wire was in fact damaged, and was repaired that dayThe pump was checked and found to be in good working condition after the wire was
repaired (service call #1, invoice # 3741)In November of (over two years later) we received another
request from *** *** to again come service her well because she had no water
We went out to the property, and found her well pump needed to be replacedWe recommended that new wire be installed to prevent the loss
of another pump, but the customer refusedThey never at any point provided any wire for us to installThe customer wanted to purchase her own pump, which she didWe installed the materials she provided and checked the systemEverything was working properly and we sent her invoice # *** (service call #2), charging her a basic labor charge to replace the pumpWe did not provide the materials for this call, and cannot warranty any materials that we did not purchase, In June of 2013, *** *** again called and requested we send someone to check her well because her pump wasn't workingWe checked the system and found the pump that she purchased needed to again be replaced*** *** recommended at that time that she should consider using a pump we provide
All of our pump installs come with a year warranty on labor, and a year warranty on the pump itselfWe explained this to the customer, and she
agreed that she would use a pump we providedAfter making several trips back and forth, the pump was finally installedAt that time, we again recommended that she replace the well wire and again she refusedOn July 22, the customer called the office to request that for a fourth time we come to her house to check her well because she didn't have any water
She stated that she had someone check the system, and they said her pump was again bad*** *** explained to her that if we came out and replaced the pump she would be charged an hourly rate since it had been over a year and the labor warranty had expired, He also told her that if she didn't want to pay for
us to pull it that he would be more than glad to exchange the pump for a new one since the pump itself was indeed still under the manufacturer's warrantyWe always warranty all work we perform, including laborA manufacturer's warranty does not cover labor, so we offer a year free labor for the materials we provide and install as a courtesy to our customers
We have checked with the only supplier in this area, and the pump that we installed has in fact NOT been turned in for a warranty as of this date
*** *** *** ** *** ** is the supplier for the pump that was in her well*** *** at *** can confirm this informationHe may be reached at
***
We do not feel as if this should remain on our record as she requestsWe have always maintained a high rating with the Revdex.comWe have tried to
please this customer in every way, but to no successWe are still willing to work with this customer if the pump needs to be exchanged for a new one, as allowed by the manufactures warranty
Thank you,

The response was not true. I intend to take the matter further. My next step is Consumer Affairs and possibly small claim court. $is not a lot of money; especially since Wilson got over $5,promptly and as soon as he was paid he would not return any calls and did not respond even after we went to his place of business.

The response was not true.  I intend to take the matter further.  My next step is Consumer Affairs and possibly small claim court.  $175.00 is not a lot of money; especially since Wilson got over $5,000.00 promptly and as soon as he was paid he would not return any calls and did not respond even after we went to his place of business.

Everything that we used to tie in the the new well to your house was new.  If there was a rock, it was most likely already in the line that we tied into.  The existing pipes were already full of sand and silt before anything was drilled or hooked up.  We are sorry you have experienced this type of problem.  Please let us know if there is anything else you need.

Review: New well dug. Problems with it & called Wilson Well & they would never return my calls. Visited their office. Wife only person there said she would go out to his work site & tell him. Still no response. Installed new filter system. No help. Was told problem had to be in either pressure tank, pump in well, or problem in well itself. We had a plumber come out & conditioning system reps who checked filtration system. No problem there. Called a different well driller who is coming out today to see if he can determine the problem.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement for expenses we have incurred because of Wilson Well Drilling not responding to us.

Review: I wish to file a formal complaint against this company, Wilson Well Drilling company. I have had several years of unprofessional service from this company and had enough of the problems with them. Had I known that I would have had all this trouble with this company, I would have never switched to them. It started a few years ago when our well pump went bad. I call [redacted] to come and fix the problem. I was told it was not the pump but the wire. The men taped the wire and never checked the pump. Six months later, I had no water again. They came out and checked the well again. This time, it was the wire and the pump. So they went ahead and fixed both the wire and the pump. Six months later, again no water. This time they replaced the pump. I provided the pump and again they fixed the wire. Six months later, again no water. Only this time, it was recommended by the [redacted], [redacted], to use his pump because he said the " worthless junk that I buy from [redacted] is just that, junk and he was not going to be responsible for replacing junk". Not to mention he was yelling and screaming at me. So I bought his pump and I purchased the wire from a plumbing store and his men replaced my well pump that he provided. He charged me in total for the pump and labor 1073.25 for this and was told this was under warranty. So now just a little over a year later, again I have no water. I called [redacted] to inform him and was told very sarcastically, that yes, the pump was under warranty but I would have to pull it up and bring it to him and he would replace it. He said, " the free labor is over". I asked him if this meant he was not warrantying the work, he would not answer me but to say the free labor was over. I want to file a formal complaint against him because this is poor service and feel he does not want to warranty his work. I have had nothing but trouble with him over the years and I want to make sure he doesn't treat others the way I have been treated.Desired Settlement: I want this complaint to stay on the books because I know he will not refund me for the cost of the pump. I have called another well company and they will have to use this pump for the warranty to give me another one. I know he will not refund me anything, the pump, labor, or anything because he thinks that I am only out for free labor and that is not it. I do not have a problem paying for professional services and in my eyes he is anything but professional. What I want it this complaint to stay on his record so that others will know not to use his services.

Case # [redacted]

Dear [redacted]

This letter is being sent in response to complaint ID #[redacted]. Along with this response, yoU will find copies of 3 invoices to detail the work performed for the customer. These invoices will be referenced in the statement below as "service calls #1, #2, and #3".

Since starting this company in 1995, we have never had any issues with work performed and have always prided ourselves in making sure we leave our customers satisfied and more than happy to use our services in the future. In March of 2010, we were asked by [redacted] to service her well. She had a

complaint of no water. She informed us at that time that "her brother" was sure the problem was a broken wire.

The wire was in fact damaged, and was repaired that day. The pump was checked and found to be in good working condition after the wire was

repaired (service call #1, invoice # 3741). In November of 2012 (over two years later) we received another

request from [redacted] to again come service her well because she had no water.

We went out to the property, and found her well pump needed to be replaced. We recommended that new wire be installed to prevent the loss

of another pump, but the customer refused. They never at any point provided any wire for us to install. The customer wanted to purchase her own pump, which she did. We installed the materials she provided and checked the system. Everything was working properly and we sent her invoice # [redacted] (service call #2), charging her a basic labor charge to replace the pump. We did not provide the materials for this call, and cannot warranty any materials that we did not purchase, In June of 2013, [redacted] again called and requested we send someone to check her well because her pump wasn't working. We checked the system and found the pump that she purchased needed to again be replaced. [redacted] recommended at that time that she should consider using a pump we provide.

All of our pump installs come with a 1 year warranty on labor, and a 3 year warranty on the pump itself. We explained this to the customer, and she

agreed that she would use a pump we provided. After making several trips back and forth, the pump was finally installed. At that time, we again recommended that she replace the well wire and again she refused. On July 22, 2014 the customer called the office to request that for a fourth time we come to her house to check her well because she didn't have any water.

She stated that she had someone check the system, and they said her pump was again bad. [redacted] explained to her that if we came out and replaced the pump she would be charged an hourly rate since it had been over a year and the labor warranty had expired, He also told her that if she didn't want to pay for

us to pull it that he would be more than glad to exchange the pump for a new one since the pump itself was indeed still under the manufacturer's warranty. We always warranty all work we perform, including labor. A manufacturer's warranty does not cover labor, so we offer a year free labor for the materials we provide and install as a courtesy to our customers.

We have checked with the only supplier in this area, and the pump that we installed has in fact NOT been turned in for a warranty as of this date.

[redacted] is the supplier for the pump that was in her well. [redacted] at [redacted] can confirm this information. He may be reached at

We do not feel as if this should remain on our record as she requests. We have always maintained a high rating with the Revdex.com. We have tried to

please this customer in every way, but to no success. We are still willing to work with this customer if the pump needs to be exchanged for a new one, as allowed by the manufactures warranty.

Regards,

The response that I have read is NOT true. The very first time [redacted] company was called, his brother came to check out the well because, yes we didn't have water and no we didn't know what was wrong with it. His brother told us that it was the wire and that it didn't need to be replaced, however, it could just be "fixed". He proceeded to fix the wire and NEVER did he check the well pump. Never did we receive a bill either from his company.

6 months later, again we didn't have water again. So again I called [redacted] and was told that we never paid for the first visit. At that time I informed him that had I received a bill it would have been paid to which I paid the bill over the phone when I was told how much it was. This time his brother was not sent to correct the problem because we were told that the jobs that he was sent on he was not doing a good job and he was just giving him something to do because he felt bad for him and he needed a job. So he apologized for this.

So again, he sent him men out and they just repaired the wire and checked the pump and found the wire to be broken on the pump, but the pump was still good. At no time was I ever told that the wire needed to be replaced, but just could be repaired so that is what was done.

It was the next visit 6 months later again, that caused all the problems when the wire, which was replaced and I purchased separately, was replaced. And yes, I did provide a pump to which was provided by my brother who is a licensed contractor in the state of Virginia. However the pump which was purchased by my brother was bad and so I did purchase a pump from [redacted]. So when I had no water again, I called [redacted] to come out since I did purchase the pump from him to see what the problem was, he was very rude and nasty about the fact that he was NOT willing to come out to check the problem for free. Not once did I EVER NOT pay a bill that I have received from him or his company. But I was told that if it was the pump, I would have to have it pulled out and brought to his office and he would have NO problem replacing it. But he would not come out to pull the pump out or check any other problems for free.

I am not satisfied with his office managers response. I did call another well company who gladly fixed our problem and will NEVER have to worry about using Wilson Well Drilling company ever. ever again.

Thank you.

I'd like to share my experience this year with Wilson Well Drilling. We own a home with a 35 year old well. We knew the well casing was corroded and had plans to drill a new well, obtained the permit, and it was just a matter of time. Then, the water slowly began to dry up (we thought). It went from a trickle to no water at all. We thought the well had caved in. I had called another company I was referred to, and played phone tag for a few days. The company I was referred to could not come out for weeks, even though I told them I had no water (it was the busy season for well maintenance), . I had no referral to Wilson Well, but I took a chance and called, on a holiday, Labor Day, because I just didn't know what to do, leaving a voicemail that I had no water. I got a call back from the owner, Joe W[redacted], immediately. He was sympathetic and kind, and said he had jobs all week, but he would be there within one to two days to come up with a plan and get me water by the end of the week. He came out, determined the well pump was bad, and gave me my options. He explained to me that it hadn't dried up, but that we had a bad water pump. He told me I could certainly have a new well drilled. I had the permit and he double-checked the physical location as marked by the county and its proximity to the septic, etc. He suggested we try replacing the pump first, though, that he would use a pump that would work in the existing well, or could be used in a newly-drilled well, and if we still wanted to go that route afterward, we could. He told me if we replaced the well pump, there was a way to address the corrosion on the well casing. He explained that just because the well was 35 years old alone did not mean that it needed to be replaced, and if replacing the well pump and addressing the corrosion worked, we could save thousands of dollars. He did not use pressure tactics and I felt educated and empowered to make a decision. I let him replace the water pump. As the old, broken water pump came up from the bottom of the well, the big rings of corrosion that came out were dismaying. Once the new pump was installed in the existing well, we had water again! Then, I had Wilson Well come back out to address the corroded well casing. They successfully used a packer to encapsulate the corroded casing. We are so happy we called Wilson Well! Joe W[redacted] and his employee, Wes, were kind and professional, and took care of us fast and fair when we were in a great time of need. Try to imagine having no water in your house. It's best not to get to that point, of course, but these are the guys to call if you have a situation with your well, and you want someone you can trust who will take care of your situation or emergency in an informed and fair way. They told me estimates up front and the invoices were in line with what we discussed. I'm so glad I called them and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone needing well service.
