Wilco has refused to issue me a 1099 for the tax year 2019. I have called several times. The first time the customer service representative apologized and said they would mail the 1099 form out to me but it would be 5 to 10 business days. After that time period, I have called several more times because I have still not received the form 1099 and had extremely long wait periods. The last representative told me my account did not exist and she kept referring to me as Ms.. Ms. is another person (could be my daughter who is beneficiary). The same representative repeatedly gave me information on another person's account but refused to provide the assistance needed on my account, stating she couldn't verify my social security number nor my birth date. I have even faxed a copy of the 2018 form (1099) that they issued but no response concerning my 2019 , 1099 form.
I did not appreciate learning about other peoples' private accounts, as this strongly breaches others personal property and privacy rights. Confidentiality is a problem here evidently at the company. I merely want and need by Form 1099 for year 2019.
I can not get anyone to contact me via a return telephone call nor via the delivery of the form 1099. I have spent over 7 hours trying to get one form that they should have mailed out several months age (yes, before COVID-19). It has never been mailed and I need a resolution as to why my account is jumbled with someone else's birth date and social security number. An explanation of the breach of confidentiality is in order.Although I have tried to amicably resolve this issue Wilco seems unable to rectify their errors.

We are allowed to disclose information only as authorized in writing by the policy owner, or as otherwise permitted by law. Because we have not received written authorization from the policy owner to disclose information to you, we cannot provide you any information on the policy. Thus, your request for information will be addressed directly with the policy owner.

I am rejecting this response because I am the policyholder. I am the only policyholder. The response from this company is a mere auto response. I am clearly the one and only policyholder. This company has confused my information with another person, breached my confidentiality, etc,. Fraudulent. I am requesting a telephone call from a company executive concerning this blatant error, payment of the invoice and correction of their records. I'll need to see proof of their corrections . Insurance fraud, breach of confidentiality, sharing of my personal information with strangers, etc is against the law. I request the above as stated and reject the auto response received.
