I am rejecting this response because: I talked with the Sales Representative yesterday who states he had no phone calls from me. I reminded him of the first phone call about the problem where he stated "I will get that taken care of"; No action was taken so I placed another phone call to him where he stated "I will get that taken care of but feel free to call me to follif you do not see me"....I told him I thought this was a weird request for the customer to have to pursue continued follow-up. The third phone call to the sales representative where I left a message for him to call me and never received a return call. That is when I filed this complaint. The sales rep stated that maybe that was during a time when he lost his phone. I explained that I certainly can understand these things happen. My husband got the gate fixed for me after I injured my hand trying to force the latch open and closed while waiting on Viking to fix the gate. At this point, I just want to move on and not linger on this any longer. I am not pursuing Viking any longer. The sales rep said he would send me a nice gift certificate to a restaurant of my choice for goodwill. I would only ask that they take ownership for lack of communication and service

[redacted] spoke to the customer and everything was fine with them, I sat [redacted] down and communicated how to properly follow up to make sure that every customer contact is returned in a timely manner. I have meetings with the sales staff every Tuesday and we go over proper communication and safety protocols weekly. I apologize but in the future please reach out to me immediately if you do not have a call back within 24 hours from contact to anyone at Viking Fence.

[redacted] and Viking Fence was not aware of any outstanding issues until today. [redacted] (Sales Person) reached out to the customer via phone two times and sent an email to see how we could correct any issues outstanding. As soon as we have her respond we can have a plan of action to complete.
