[I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The purpose of my complaint to the Revdex.com, is to warn other consumers, especially seniors, of the unorthodox methods used by Windor.They charged my Credit Card in the amount of $for Windows that I NEVER received. They sent an independent contractor to do the install telling me he was a Licensed Contractor yet, when I asked, they were unable to provide me with a copy of his license.I did do, my due diligence, and found out the contractor Windor provided, was NOT Licensed Also,Windor wanted this contractor to install window over the weekend in order to avoid the City of Dana Point, code enforcement scrutiny Therefore, I cancelled Windor.Before refunding my credit card, Windor made this contractor pay them $in Cash and take possession of said windows.Windor penalized this poor contractor who they knew was not Licensed.If I had gone through with Windor, I would have been in trouble with the City of Dana Point, I would have 'no recourse' with the California Licensing Department for any install issues.I contacted Cunningham doors & windows replacement company who changed out my windows, without issues They provided me with proof of License and Insurance information.They pulled Permits with the City of Dana Point Everything was done legally and beautifully I highly recommend *** *** and door replacement company, to all other consumers.This is a warning to all other consumers, especially seniors like me, of Windor's unorthodox business methods in order to avoid them huge problems.]

[redacted] is not our customer. We have no contract or business with her directly. She did contact us to do work for her but we had to decline because the work she needed done, we do not do. We did refer her to a contractor that does the type of work she needed. She hired that contractor who...

ultimately bought windows from us under his business name ([redacted] Construction). When he picked up those windows so he could install them the windows were paid for by [redacted]. The issues Mrs. [redacted] has with [redacted] Construction do not involve us. [redacted] Construction provided a contractors license number to us or we would not have referred him. It is still her responsibility to do diligence and check his credentials. With all of that said, We did refund her credit card on 12/5/2017 in the amount of $3774.00 in good faith even though we did not get the windows back. That refund receipt is attached.
