From: Scott B [redacted] Date: Tue, Dec 22, at 8:PMSubject: WIN Home Inspection ID# [redacted] To: [redacted] @myRevdex.com.orgCc: [redacted] < [redacted] @***.com> Dear [redacted] ,I am writing you in response to a complaint ID # [redacted] that was placed against my company WIN Home Inspection by [redacted] on November 18, 2015.My office was contacted to perform a home and pest inspection at [redacted] Langhorne PA for [redacted] As it turned out this particular home had no evidence or documentation that reflected past treatment for any wood destroying insectsDuring the home inspection there was vegetation growing up against the home and various areas outside the home with deteriorated wood, both of which create conditions conducive for wood destroying pest infestationAdditionally what appeared to be termite shelter tubes were noted at the rear exterior door framing which was documented in his reportThere was also visible ant activity noted throughout the walls of the rear storage shed which was seen by myself, [redacted] , and [redacted] the Real Estate Agent on site during the home inspectionGiven this list of findings, in his home inspection report, I recommended an evaluation and treatment by a qualified, licensed exterminatorAfter a back and forth conversation between [redacted] and myself regarding the pest inspection, I explained my position regarding my findings and decided to offer him a refund of his "PEST" inspection only as a courtesy due to his concern with the conflicting findings between my report, and the pest companies that he contacted to come out to evaluate these conditionsIt was my understanding that he had agreed to this offer which is why I had a release constructed and mailed out toAs for his request of a refund of the home inspection fee, I scheduled an appointment to perform his home inspection, met him at the property to perform the inspection, completed a detailed report and emailed it out to the email I had for him and his Real Estate Agent within hours of completing his inspectionDuring his appointment, I had identified and documented 3% pages of summary issues with the home with repair figures totaling approximately $23,During a typical home inspection I will normally see pages of summary issuesMy company has received a 96.7% customer satisfaction rating with multiple awards for customer service in the past several yearsI apologized to [redacted] because my office made a typographical error in capturing the spelling of his last name which resulted in the report not being emailed to him directly when sentHowever, I don't see the justification for refunding a home inspection fee simply due to a spelling error in his name where he ultimately did have the report forwarded by [redacted] Once I was made aware of the spelling error, I made a point of sending him a copy and informed him my reporting software will not allow me to modify the spelling of a name in an archived report that has already been sent.At this time I stand by my current offer to refund [redacted] his PEST inspection fee of $if he so chooses, but I am not in agreement of refunding the fee for the home inspection given my reasons above.Pleasd feel free to contact me directly on my cell ###-###-#### to discuss this matter further.Sincerely, Scott B [redacted] ACI, CMI, CMA Inspector/Owner WIN Home Inspection Newtown ###-###-#### www.wini.com/newtown

Refund payment of home inspection

I found the inspector to be most dishonest. He punched holes in my walls and ceiling and ripped the sheet rock. Which was totally unnecessary and destroyed my property.This being bad enough when confronted lied about it and other things. The inspector who did this was actually the owner. I would tell anyone to stay away from this company.
