our efforts This patient came for an eye exam on 1/17/and new glasses were orderedThe glasses have a special power in them which takes longer to process and the patient was made aware of that. The glasses were delivered to the patient on 2/7/17. On 2/15/the patient returned to have a follexamination because he was experiencing problems with his glasses. It was determined that the patient's prescription was correct, but that the progressive bifocal may have been too high in the frame and was therefore affecting his visionA new pair of glasses were ordered On 2/24/the glasses arrived from the lab, but they did not pass inspection by my staffThey were returned to the lab for a remakeCurrently, the glasses are still in process at the lab and are scheduled to be shipped on 3/3/ In retrospect, if this patient had been notified of the failure of the glasses to pass inspection, he may have felt differently about the delayWe make certain all of the products that leave our office are correct and of good quality, so there are times that orders are delayed because of our due diligence in supervising the orders that return from the lab We are more than happy to accommodate this patient by providing his glasses as soon as we receive them or by refunding his money.
