Wind City Physical Therapy Reviews (4)

[redacted] This is response to ID [redacted] The company in question is not Wind City Physical Therapy, it is High Country Physical Therapy The client in question signed forms that I have attached where we did explicitly go over her coverageShe was made aware that we are not in network with United insuranceUnited is both her primary and secondaryIt was documented what parts of her deductible were met and then what her coinsurance would be after her deductible was met It is interesting that she is unaware of what she actually paid at the time of the appointmentShe paid $which is documented on the form she signed as the amount due at the initial evaluation The care provided was consistent with an evaluation and treatment of her primary problem. She called our billing office on 2/25/and spoke with MelissaShe was irate and agitated and Melissa was unable to clearly explain anything to her due to this She then went onto [redacted] and [redacted] and wrote negative reviews In the end, the patient has a medical bill and our company deserves to be paid for the time we spent with her, regardless of whether she was happy with the outcome or notOur company did all we could to explain her insurance benefits to her and provide treatmentThe result was not what she wanted and now she does not want to pay It is unfortunate that she feels she needs to disparage our good name due to this, but we did not do anything wrong

These guys are completely unethical in their billing practicesThey charge the customer at the end of each visit so they get their money right awayThen they bill the insurance company $(in my case) per visit However, I found out that if I was a private pay customer, the bill per visit would be $I appreciate there is a cost to billing insurance, but there is no way Wind City can justify doubling the price for that On top of which, they get their money from ME right away, so I am paying for the privilege of waiting for my insurance company to reimburse meI am bearing the cost and paying the price AVOID THIS SCAM - go someplace else for your physical therapy

signed 2 forms that I have attached where we did explicitly go over her coverage. She was made aware that we are not in network with United insurance. United is both her primary and secondary. It was documented what parts of her deductible were met and then what her coinsurance would be after her deductible was met.  It is interesting that she is unaware of what she actually paid at the time of the appointment. She paid $39.00 which is documented on the form she signed as the amount due at the initial evaluation.   The care provided was consistent with an evaluation and treatment of her primary problem. She called our billing office on 2/25/16 and spoke with Melissa. She was irate and agitated and Melissa was unable to clearly explain anything to her due to this.  She then went onto [redacted] and [redacted] and wrote negative reviews.  In the end, the patient has a medical bill and our company deserves to be paid for the time we spent with her, regardless of whether she was happy with the outcome or not. Our company did all we could to explain her insurance benefits to her and provide treatment. The result was not what she wanted and now she does not want to pay.  It is unfortunate that she feels she needs to disparage our good name due to this, but we did not do anything wrong.
