Dear Sir/Madam,Look closely at this guest’s complaint regarding Windcliff Vacation Rentals
(Windcliff Properties and/or Windcliff Homes).The guest signed and understood our company’s standard Rental Agreement which includes a Cancellation Agreement that states NO refunds within days of arrival ALL guests must sign this agreement - as did this guest.The guest purchased travel insurance to protect their reservation should they have need to cancel it AFTER the cancellation period expired.The cancellation period (for refund) passed.The guest cancelled the reservation due to their own circumstances - not my company’s actions or performance.The guest filed with their travel insurance to receive full reimbursement for the cost of their reservation. The guest has suffered no loss and certainly not as a result of any unacceptable action or decision by my companyThis guest filed a complaint because they asked my company to refund their reservation - assuming it would be FASTER than waiting for insurance to payAs you can certainly agree, this is not acceptable. When we informed the guest that they were fully protected and would be fully reimbursed by insurance, the guest was emotional, angry and unwilling to listen to the reason above: their reimbursement would come from Travel Insurance - not my company They then proceeded to attempt to badmouth my company via the Revdex.com.I would appreciate it if you would confirm that this was an unreasonable and unfair complaint against my highly regarded company.All the best,- Rich C***Owner, Windcliff Vacation RentalsEstes Park, Colorado
