Windcliff Properties

The pros are:
Beautiful view, good mattress, fairly equipped kitchen, nice layout.
The cons:
Needs serious updating. Furniture very very uncomfortable and out of date. Master bath smells like urine. Towels are old, no water glasses, bed frames ridiculous... you will need a ladder to get in bed. Blinds are old and hard to operate, Hot tub was filthy, front door walk out not swept, nor the patio cleaned up. Downstairs bath does not drain, Kitchen sprayer cannot be used... missing parts. Cupboards have all sorts of old food and old dinnerware. Under the kitchen sink: things just thrown under there.
Safety concerns :
No grab bars in bathroom , almost impossible to navigate tub in master bath ( a very old jetted tub). Flagstone on patio and walk has pieces sticking up.

I know this was a family house and well loved, but not good enough for a rental. We felt a little duped and foolish for thinking the pictures portrayed a nice place to stay. This property management is obviously cutting corners big time. The cleaning fee $400, and the damage deposit of $150 are so inappropriate. The house was only moderately clean on arrival and things were already damaged . I would steer clear of Windcliff. We are Colorado natives and stay every year at vacation homes in our beautiful state.
Never have had the experience in a so called "luxury" accommodation. At the very least, this vacation home should be classified as very rustic.
