Windermere Association Management has had a change in duties in our Condo Accounting Division that resulted in some late fees that were charged to owners who made their payments after the 10th of the month. When we were made aware of the error on Mr***’s account we gladly removed the fees that were charged in error I would like to note in response to this complaint, Windermere Association Management receives no financial compensation when charging or collecting late fees for the Associations we manage. The late fees and due dates are determined by the Governing Documents and the Board of DirectorsAny late fee income that is received on behalf of the association is deposited into that Association's checking account and reflected on the income and expense statement as income to the Association If there is a clerical error that we can identify when a late fee is charged we are authorized to remove that feeIf a late fee is charged in accordance with the Governing Documents the only way for that fee to be removed is by vote of the Board of Directors
