Beware of the thief owner she stole items many many items from my home she disconnect unplugged my surveillance cameras she took some vintage items and antique items she did not pay and compensate me for hiring her for the two days estate sale she did not tell me the amount was made so she is a thief she has no morals no dignity I don't see how she sleeps at night do not hire this company you will regret it she is a money hungry thief trash 🗑️

This response is in regards to Winding Road Estate Sales and the complaint from *** ***, 8** ***, San Antonio, Texas 78209.*** *** contacted me via her friend *** Bickerstaff ( *** and I met when she attended an estate sale I was conducting), then on September 6,
*** asked me if I would meet her friend *** *** at her address on ***.*** informed me that she has hoarder tendencies, and needs help organizing and purging items in order to raise some much needed cash from the sale of items through the estate sale processWe (***, myself and ***) took a tour of her very full, cluttered, dirty house where she showed me all items that would be available through the estate sale.After our walk through and subsequent conversation, before leaving I left *** one of my contracts as I do with all prospective clients, so that she could read it at her leisure and address any issues if she had them in regards to terms and conditions of said contract.After our initial meeting *** asked me to return to her address on *** on September 8, 2016, for us to sign my contracts in order to conduct a part estate sale at her location on *** *** was the contracted client that signed both of my contracts, one for each part of her salesHer year old father was not the signer of said contracts, according to *** *** the items included in the estate sale were her property.Many desirable items were included in the estate sale contents, designer clothing, designer purses, designer shoes and designer jewelryThe contents of her home (furnishings) were well worn and had clear signs of wear and tear and most items were damaged from not being cared for properly Plus the garage was filled to the brim with no walk through spaceHowever with the volume of items *** said would be included it could still be a lucrative estate saleI was willing to do the work in order to get this home ready to become an estate sale walk through home.I scheduled weeks of preparation for items included in the estate sale as the home was cluttered and quite dirty and needed to be cleaned in order to rid the home of its unpleasant odor of pet urine and feces.I started preparation on *** ***'s' residence on the 20th September and was not done until October with preparation of her residenceNumerous texts were sent to *** informing her before my crew and myself were to arrive, *** always said she was ready for our arrival, but separate times we arrived and left within minutes.When we were finally allowed into the residence to begin the process of cleaning and sorting through the mounds of items, I was informed that I would only have toys, used unhung clothing, well worn stilettos and well worn over priced (by ***) furnitureI informed her at those prices it would be very difficult to make those types of sales with her items. I let *** know that I was going to cut my losses and take a day sale down to days, since most items had been removed, she agreed. Unfortunately, on the morning of the first day the residence smelled so badly of unbathed animals urinating and defecating inside, that most people looked around commented that it looked like a high priced yard sale and smelled really bad.For day I am sure that she heard comments from day (since she was at the sale the whole time) about the smell and had purchased a highly fragrant candle that along with the spraying of bleach helped to mask the odor and I was able to sell about $225.00Her sale totals were $250.00, not enough to cover the set up fee of $she never paid me for although I gave her free labor and intellectual property.` I have mailed her a statement with all pertinent information and a receipt of all her sales.Also since she cancelled part I have a retraction clause in my contract that states a $1,feeI never even mentioned this to ***I just wanted it all to be over. *** ***Owner & FounderWinding Road Estate Sales*** ***
