I am rejecting this response because:
They came on 11/6/15 and added more caulk (onto of the caulk that was already there), then without the proper cure time of the caulk they sprayed the canopy with the hose and there was no leak at the time. On 11/101/5 it rained and once again the same leak was present. Now according to their response they are blaming the siding when this isn't the issue. The siding was properly installed less then 4 years ago and is still under warranty. The way the siding works is they are interlocked so the water will travel downwards without going behind the siding. the siding is currently still doing its proper job and isn't warped or anything. The canopy was supposed to be installed so that the rain will flow from the siding onto the canopy and not in between the canopy as its currently doing. This job was done incorrectly from day one. The first issue being the front supports were installed crooked and not leveled properly. Their excuse was the canopy was too big when they came out to measure the canopy before they ordered it. Their solution was to a crossbar on the inside of the canopy and yet they still managed to install the supports crooked and not properly leveled, but this time I didn't complain about it since this is a brand new canopy and there are already multiple holes made from their improper installation and fixing it would mean more holes. Then when it rained we noticed the water leaking between the canopy and the siding. When we contacted them they were very unprofessional on multiple occasions from telling us to contact the person who installed it when this third party was hired by them. Then they would claim he would come several times and never showed up. On the rare occasions that he did show up they wouldn't knock on the door they would go ahead and proceed to work without notifying anyone that they were here. At this point of going back and forth for several months this canopy needs to be removed and either properly installed or removed and refunded for the full price paid so I may find a professional to install this canopy since their caulking "patch work" isn't working.
