The most awful experience everIt was so bad, I cancel my order and lost my $deposit, I just couldn't deal with them anymore and did not want them in my homeHad to deal with the rudest woman ever, I believe she is one of the owners, from all the other reviews I have read sinceI have never been spoken to by anyone the way this woman spoke to me, she needs help, she is the reason I cancelledI have since read really bad reviews about their windows, so maybe it was for the bestBig questionWhy do they only take cash or money orders for the balance, I can only think of one reasonMaybe a call to the ***is in order! Their home page even mentions that they have received a lot of complaints, but go on to say that they are from angry competitors, I can assure you they are not, they are genuineThe good ones are the suspicious ones!!! Get t hat woman some help

A We provide products that factories build "custom made" the factory products come with lifetime warranties We explain to the homeowner that the warranty is provided by the factory, at no time to we offer free warranty work after year
B The homeowner was
told cracked glass is warranted up to year, at no charge, condensation will be inspected and replace by the fabricator
C This is so clear its easy to get help from the factory if you want help
D In closing we charge nothing to help with paperwork the only charge is from the fabricator
(note this contract is dated from 6/5/2009, service fee approx to send truck, thats fair!)

I am sending a copy of the contract, please compare my answer with the closed end contract not open end contract along with the invoice from ideal
AI wrote the contract with the phone #Mrs *** gave me *** *** *** as per the contract
B*** never notified us of the wrong
number thats not true, I had to leave a note at his front door on 1/Jan installation date that I gave them on Nov when I wrote the contract They wouldn't answer the door on Jan 20th
CWe then reset the installation for 2/again the ***s refused installation of these custom made windows due to many excuses as stated in the complaint
DThis nonsense about enforcing the contract makes no sense I ordered custom products, I showed up for the installation, I clearly outline storage penalty in the contract and offered to wave that charge, only to find out they still have no cares concerning the COD of $
E The contract isn't verbal its in writing whats verbal? I demand payment for this contract, this homeowner is not sane, if you read the last sentence (verbal agreements aren't binding) this is a written contract I expect to be paid for my services immediately if not sooner I also would enjoy a response from the Revdex.com qualifying the complaint as a business owner none of this letter makes any
sense at all
FI am faxing proof of custom made windows I ordered for this job They are not refundable, I am responsible to pay *** ***for these windows I can't resale them nor will they fit on another job, they are built for *** *** ***The ***s job
GEvery sentence is untrue in this complaint other than the first sentence regarding the 600.00cash deposit
In closing we are always anxcious and excited to solve any sensible complaint but in this case the ***s aren't making any sense at all I expect total payment for this project and rightfully so, as I offered
exactly whats written in my contract

I agree the woman on the phone is THE MOST RUDE and unpleasant personNEVER use them again and will never recommend themInstallers asked to use my dumpster and said they would pay...they gave $to cover cost, should have insisted they take and dispose

I recently used Window Wholesalers to replace a bunch of old windows in our house. From start to finish these guys were a pleasure to work with; their response time was very quick, pricing was better than any of the competition, the installation crew was friendly, clean and quick....and I am extremely pleased with the end result. I highly recommend them to anyone in the market for windows.

I).  This is strange under purchase date it  clearly says 9/14/2011, but this statement claim states 8/8/2013 which is it?
Nowhere does the contract or brochure state free guarantee for life.  We clearly explain nicely for 1 year the factory will be happy to service at...

no charge, after the year is up the factory charges for labor not parts thats extremely fair as always, even a washer or dryer repair will cost to repair nothing is free, nor do out line that in the contract.
II).  Always willing and able to help but the customer needs to understand, its only fair business!

Had 7 windows installed on Nov. 29, 2011. Was told they were premium energy weld. [redacted] certified (Whatever that means I'm not sure) Well, the [redacted] metallic titanium coating is wearing off... Very poor quality windows for what I was charged, I believe they were seconds. After speaking to the service dept, (which incidentally was the same woman that had told me earlier that I had dialed the wrong # because I had called the sales dept. & I needed to call the service dept. after 10:30 am, which I did do at 10:30 & I was rudely greeted by the same woman. She was extremely rude & condescending, ( I think her name was [redacted]) said for a fee of $149 they would send someone out to look at them. After spending all that money on supposedly windows that were presented to me as having a lifetime warranty I didn't feel I should have to pay to have someone come out to see their damaged product.I wish I had been informed that lifetime warranty basically was worthless.... They installed junk windows now it's going to cost me again to have them replaced.. This company should really be put out of business because they are ripping people off by selling poor products. I welcome anyone that would like to come to my house to see the kind of product they are installing. All the [redacted] metallic coating is coming off... They look terrible. I recommend anyone contemplating a sale from this company to please do some research & read the reviews. I wish I had... I learned from my mistakes & sadly this was a costly one.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and would like to get started in replacing these windows.  I understand that there is a small fee.

I had such a great experience with this window company when I replaced the windows in one of my rental properties, that I had them return to do my own residence to replace my windows. I had a few questions after the salesman came, so I called the main number and couldn't believe that someone answered the phone and was able to answer every little question I had. Also, unlike some of the other contractors that I have used in the past, this company made sure that everything was cleaned up before leaving. I will definitely pass the word on. THANKS!

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
1) The contract was dated 9/14/2011.
2) Your brochure does say in bold blue letters on the back "Guaranteed For Life".
Someone needs to explain to the woman who answered the phone what a guarantee means. A guarantee means that you stand by your product 100% for the time specified, which is lifetime in this case.  How can she say that no guarantees are free??  This same woman did not say one thing nicely to me.  In fact she was very arrogant and called me a liar because I told her that her brochure stated it was guaranteed for life.  This was also the salesman's selling point "Guaranteed for Life" which made us comfortable buying these windows.
I want my windows replaced at no charge.
Regards,
[redacted]

Review: I purchased 12 windows from Window Wholesalers on 9/14/2014 (contract date. They were installed about a month or so later. We have just discovered that we are getting condensation between the glass panes. The salesman and their brochure say that these windows are guaranteed for life. When I called to put in a claim, I was told that the "guarantee was not for life and only a year and that I would have to pay to get them fixed". When I told her about the salesman and brochure stating that they both said guaranteed for life, she called me a liar and said that no guarantees are free and that there would be a service fee.Desired Settlement: I want our windows replaced at no charge.

Review: I hired them to replace 7 windows at a rental property of mine. When I got to the job I noticed that two of the old original windows had not been replaced. The installer, who did a great job, said we must have miscounted when [redacted] the owner came out for the quote. I thought it strange because we walked every room and I watched him measure, but didn't make a big deal about it. It occurred to me later that they may have replaced the wrong ones. I found pictures that showed the windows in the room were newer and called to see how we could get this fixed. I spoke with [redacted] the owner who was very defensive right from the start. Saying that I should have been there and there was no way that could have happened. I have dealt with a lot of contractors in my business and never have I had to stay there and babysit them. That makes no sense. If they do something wrong they get it fixed at their expense. This is something that [redacted] and Window Wholesalers was not willing to do. They asked if I wanted to buy two new windows at the same price. No discounts or anything for their mistakes. After hanging up with them they called me back three separate times threatening to post bad reviews about my business if I posted anything online about my feelings on the job.Desired Settlement: I would like them to finish the job and replace the last two windows at their cost.

Business

Response:

I did respond to this complaint but to clarify we install 7 windows that exactly what he bought " [redacted]"

I will provide and install 2 window at our old pricing even though that product has increased 35% since [redacted]'s contract date.

I am rejecting this response because: while they did install 7 windows as he mentioned he replaced two perfectly good ones and left 2 originals that were clearly much older and in need of replacement.

Review: Nov 14, 2013 Windows Wholesalers took a cash down for $600 cash down payment for windows from my wife. While writing my contact/invoice the information [redacted] wrote an incorrect contact phone number on the paperwork. I notified the company V.P. [redacted] at the point of sale along with office a shot time later to fix the error. The windows were not installed Jan 20, 2014 more than six weeks later. I was blamed for the error that Windows Wholesalers made. Verbally the windows installation was rescheduled for Feb 17, 2014. Three unexpected family emergencies came up,1. my wife became very sick,2. extreme cold weather caused my heating system broke down the house was without heat,3. and my car broke down. When I asked to reschedule Windows Wholesalers refused to install the windows and charged fees and a $75 per day storage penalty until May or June 2014. The problem with the enforcing this contract/invoice is the important dates and commitments are verbal not written.Desired Settlement: Please refund my deposit and void $75 storage penalty and other fess. I will send a letter with more details about this matter. Window Wholesalers use of contract/invoice is opened ended, because of several factors but they are trying to enforce it as if it was a closed end detailed contract. verbal agreements are not binding.

I would never recommend window wholesalers, Inc. to anyone! They installed windows for me 4 years ago and every season when I clean my windows, I'm reminded of the faulty work and product I unfortunately paid for and never has been corrected by them. One of my windows has a 1/4 in. gap between bottom of window and sill covered over with caulk and the gasket around the glass is defected so I have rings of condensation across it. I was told by another window professional that the window should be replaced by company due to defect.
I've called them to resolve problem but everything is a runaround! Not only would I have to pay to fix it but the customer service is beyond rude! I became tired of wasting my breath and energy trying to argue the point.
I have all my receipts and they still wouldn't honor their service and product. I hope that you will look into this matter.

First I would like to say that our installer was exceptional, however he is not a direct employee of window wholesalers. The woman in the office is miserable to deal with point blank. She uses different names everytime that you call and really has no good information. She hung up on me at least twice. I would not recommend this company simply because of her! Good luck dealing with her!!!

Review: I purchased windows from Window Wholesalers and the paperwork has lifetime warranty for the windows I purchased. I contacted the business because one of my windows cracked and the other condensation starting. When I got a return phone call I was told that no business would cover anything under warranty and I would have to pay a 300 charge for a repair guy come out to my house and then the cost of the window. So I asked them what was the lifetime warranty for if I have to pay all this money and I got alot of excuses. Can you please help me out with thisDesired Settlement: I would like money back for these windows since they wouldn't help me out and I will get new windows replaced by someone else.

Response:

A. We provide products that factories build "custom made". the factory products come with lifetime warranties. We explain to the homeowner that the warranty is provided by the factory, at no time to we offer free warranty work after 1 year.

B. The homeowner was told cracked glass is warranted up to 1 year, at no charge, condensation will be inspected and replace by the fabricator.

C. This is so clear its easy to get help from the factory if you want help.

D. In closing we charge nothing to help with paperwork the only charge is from the fabricator.

(note this contract is dated from 6/5/2009, service fee approx 149.00 to send truck, thats fair!)
