Do not order windows from this company. The 9 windows that were installed are over an inch too small in length and width for the openings. The window frames have gaps at some of the corners and have scratches in the material. The pieces holding the glass in have misaligned joints and gaps in the joints. The screen frames have chips in the finish. When they removed the old windows, they left the top piece of the old window in the opening and pulled the j channel loose from the house. None of the windows touch the wood opening on the sides or the bottom, they tried to fill these gaps with spray foam insulation, but it didn't work. when I was told that they were going to use aluminum trim instead of the vinyl trim, I was told that they didn't make vinyl trim for the windows. I called the corporate office and was told that yes, vinyl trim did exist for the windows. Because I wanted the vinyl, no one came back for over 2 weeks to put it up, it wasn't until after I went to their office that they said they couldn't use the vinyl trim because the trim had to be wrapped in behind the j channel of the siding. When the coated aluminum trim was installed it was caulked to the side of the j channel, not behind it. The caulking they used to the attach the trim to the j channel has gaps in it, and is very sloppy looking. The gaps around the windows that they tried to fill with spray foam insulation let so much cold air in it is shrinking the caulking on the inside of the windows. I have had to hang blankets over the windows to try and stop the cold air from coming in. They finally sent someone out to look at all the problem, and I even showed him using a non contact infra red thermometer that there was at least a 10 degree difference between the edge of the window opening inside the house and 3 inches in from the opening. I told him that this had been going on for months and I wasn't going to keep being given the run around. He asked what I wanted, and I told him that they needed to get the correct size windows and install them properly, give me back the money I paid on the windows, or if necessary, I would take them to court. He told me that he would let me know what they were going to do the next day. They have not contacted me, so I will do what I can to let people know why they shouldn't order windows from them so they won't have them same problems I have. I just wish I could post pictures on here so everyone could see what they did.
