mid April to inform us she had received a grant to paint her house she did not cancel her window order. She was informing us that she had to get the house painted first and then we would proceed with the window install. She asked us how long we would be able to store them for her and we informed her that whenever she was ready we would be ready to install. There was no mention of obtaining a permit at this time. She ultimately found out that the reason she could not put the windows in was NOT because she needed a permit, but because she could not put vinyl windows in her home. We would have been happy to obtain a permit for the window installation and install the 12 windows she purchased and were now in our warehouse. We informed her that we would try to sell some of the windows on her behalf. Retrofit windows are special order, measured to fit each opening. We were able to sell 6 and sent her a check for $1000.

While I fully understand business and negotiations, this offer is an insult to an integral African -American women which took 18 years to be afforded the opportunity for home improvements. I placed my full confidence in Window Worlds professional knowledge, skills and expertise. If this process does not provide a resolve, I will be contacting the media and exposing this company's lack of business ethics.
