Since filing the complaint, windows have been installed However, there is an issue with one window that needs to be addressed Additionally, the installer began to remove a window that was not to be removed The window is now missing its screen and storm window I have been told by the installer the window will be replaced at the cost of Window World I called and left a message today for *** requesting a time to remedy the issues with the window and confirm that Window World will replace the other window I did not receive a return phone call
Being that Mr. *** said I would receive a phone call and I did not, I will can not accept the response In my earlier complaint, I stated this issue would be resolved if I received a phone call scheduling install at a specific time, installation happened at the agreed time and not any later, install was done to the highest standard and I received an apology I take Mr*** is a man of his word and an apology is forthcoming However, the installer was late There is a window not installed properly and a window screen and storm window removed and now missing that was not to be touched
I ask that Mr*** propose a resolution to this matter that takes into consideration the loss of time and headache I've experienced, the issue with the current installation and the window that Window World's installer dismantled and left without a screen and storm window Once I receive an acceptable resolution and it is fulfilled, I will close this complaint

***We are sorry for any problems that arose during the installation processWe work hard to avoid problems and even harder to correct issues when they ariseThe customer purchased replacement windows from usI feel that after ordering the windows a 2nd time, and using the original set
to complete job that is all that any Cocould possibly doThe windows are in customers house and complete sealed trimmed inside and outsideCustomer has notified us that they are going to leave windows in the house this winter and call someone to replace them next spring and we can pick them up at that timeI feel like the only solution to customers concerns would be a full frame tear out installation which involves tear out of existing frames and replacement of all interior and exterior wood trim, which is not what the customer purchasedThe windows are in and look good and will perform great for them this winter and we have never received one penny from them, and that is where we are at this point and time.Thank you,*** ***Window World of Indy

We are sorry that the complainant has had a negative experience. We have taken several steps to including taking out and re installing the windows completely.
I made a visit to the home to investigate and diagnose the problem. I noticed right away that...

the J channel installed on the windows is cut backwards and will permit water to flow behind the window frames. The Homeowner stated that they installed the vinyl siding(j channel) themselves. They said they did not know if it is still leaking. I asked if she would call after it rained to let me know if there is still a leak. We want the problem fixed for them, but want to make sure we are fixing the correct issue. We will make a follow up call to see if she has info.

I would like to apologize for the   inconvenience you experienced with our company and your window replacement project. I hope after your job is complete and your satisfied  we can have a positive relationship in the future. Rest assured we will move forward 100% until you are completely satisfied. Our installer is scheduled to be at the job Saturday 8/16 to look at the window you are having trouble with, at that time he will measure the window that they started to remove, we will give you that window free of charge. I hope that will help out.

We will  be calling customer to set time to make necessary repairs in next couple of days. I have to secure someone to do job. We will make any repairs caused by leak.

I never said we installed the siding. I said we had it installed. I have had the siding looked at and was told that the siding is fine and would not cause the leakage because there is wood siding behind the vinyl that would prevent water from getting to the windows. I have notified his office that the windows are no longer leaking since they reinstalled them. I still have not heard from the company about fixing the mold problem.
