They cleaned up and explained the operations of the windows and asked if I had any questions After installation we only had a small misunderstanding that was addressed by the company owner and it was resolved in short order to my satisfactionIn today's world it is nice to deal with a local company that stands behind their product and wordCommunication between customers and the business they choose do lack these days with automatic phones messages and speaking to a person that is in another state or countryIt's nice to be able to talk to local people when an issue arisesBetter than that the owner calls you back and explains things to you and takes care of you needs My hats off to the owner and staff of the OKC Window World and would highly recommend anyone needing new windows to give them a callVery professional company! We had windows original to the house (1982) and decided that the curtains blowing inside on a windy day was a bad thing. We got estimates from a few companies. They ranged from $18,000-$3,000, needless to say the $18,000 was a no go. We decided to go with window world even though they were not the cheapest. The sales person was not all that great. I frustrated him because I did my research and knew what I wanted.

After 6 weeks my windows finally came in. I had 8 windows but because the opening on one was so big they had to make it into 2 windows. The first scheduled date for install was cancelled because it was to cold and my house has half of the windows in stone and the mortar won't set in temps below 32 degrees. The second install day came up and the temp was only 34 degrees but they decided to roll with it. They were supposed to show up between 8-9 am. At 9:30 I called and was told they were about to leave. Then I called again at 11:00 and was told they were about 30 minutes away even though my house is less than an hour from their warehouse. They finally showed up at 12:30. They told me they should be able to get most of the way done in the 5 hours they had. They got 2 windows out and 2 placed and foamed around the edges. I told them they could be at my house at 7 the next morning to start working. They showed up at 8:30. They told me that their trailer with my windows in it fell off while driving down the highway. At 12:00 they had removed one more window and installed the interior trim on 2.

I was quite ticked off and told them I could not miss anymore work. They decided to work outside and get it all buttoned up. That didn't happen. When I got home it was half done and looked like crap. They set a 3rd day to work on my house. I told them I would not allow the first 2 installers back in my property. They sent 2 new guys that were able to do the next 5 windows in 4 hours.

And now after a little over a year with these windows all of the joints are starting to separate. That's not to mention all the damage they did to the stone on the side of my house that they never fixed.

I would like to say a little something about our Window World Office in OKC. We replaced 9 windows and a sliding glass patio door at our home in Chickasha back in June. These windows have been in the home since about 1971. We looked at 5 different window companies around the area, but choose Window World after a very well done in-home demo. Once we had decided that this was the company we were going to use the contract was done. When the time came to do the install the installers showed up within 10 minutes of the scheduled time and were finished with the job in fewer than 5 hours and when they left other than new windows you would have never known they were there! They cleaned up and explained the operations of the windows and asked if I had any questions.
After installation we only had a small misunderstanding that was addressed by the company owner and it was resolved in short order to my satisfaction. In today's world it is nice to deal with a local company that stands behind their product and word. Communication between customers and the business they choose do lack these days with automatic phones messages and speaking to a person that is in another state or country. It's nice to be able to talk to local people when an issue arises. Better than that the owner calls you back and explains things to you and takes care of you needs.
My hats off to the owner and staff of the OKC Window World and would highly recommend anyone needing new windows to give them a call. Very professional company!

first I love my windows . noise is way down . the furnace does not run as long or often . the only thing I did not like was it was to be a 2 day job. took 3 days cause the crew never showed up before 11:30 . and left at 6 . execpt the last day . they did not finish till after 9pm. . the installed could only do one thing at a time . talk or work. and he liked to talk. the helper was usless .only could remove old windows. but his sister was dating the installer.so there you go . on the last day or night . the installer was putting on chaulk when it was drizzling and below 30 dregrees . I have recaulked a lot of the windows. both inside and out. I would recomend the windows. but not the installers . had coffee and breakfast waiting every day . never even said thanks. tracked mud and leaves in the house. they had a small vac to clean up mess. only thing was that all the stuff it sucked up got blown out the back of the unit. I had dust and [redacted] all over the ceiling ,walls ,furniture, wall hangings and all my christmas stuff .2 days of cleaning. so over all windows great . the install not so good .
