Review: I have left 4 messages on the company's answering machine to schedule a service on a window. No one has returned my call. The messages were left on 3/31/16, 4/8/16, 4/28/16, and 5/16/16. One year ago on 5/19/15 I spoke to the receptionist about scheduling this repair. At that time she said the repair person had open heart surgery and would not be available for several months but she would call me when he was available. I waited and then due to the winter months I thought by spring 2016 a repair service could be done. Now, no one will return my phone calls. I have been patient waiting for a year on a service that is covered under a contract.

Review: We purchased windows from this company in May 2007. I have windows that will not stay in track when raised and can not tilt them to clean. These windows have a life time warranty on them. I called Windows Direct back in July to ask about someone coming to check them. They did not answer my call (was in business hours). I left a message and it was never returned. I waited a couple weeks and called back and left message again, still no response from them. I called two more times with no return call. I called from my cell phone in the middle of August and left a message for them to call me about some windows and they returned my call within an hour. I explained to the lady about my windows and she said, "well whenever someone gets up that way I'll ask them to stop in and fix it, it's very simple to do". I told her I would appreciate it and thought it would be within a week or two (as they told us when we first called them to get an estimate back in 2007 that they were up this way 3 or 4 times a week). I have called back numerous times and left messages since and they do not answer my calls or return them.Desired Settlement: They should be forced to stand behind their warranty.

Review: We have contacted Windows Direct by phone at least 5 times during the last year to order a replacement window for one that was installed by this company. We were instructed on how to obtain the replacement measurement, which we supplied. To this date, no one has returned our call or let us know when to expect the replacement. We also have some minor issues with other windows, which we asked for a rep to visit our home to discuss, to no avail.Desired Settlement: The company guaranteed our windows for life. We would expect them to honor this guarantee, or at least provide a replacement window for one that is broken, even if there is a charge.

Review: We purchased replacement windows from Window Direct of Cana VA in 2013. I have been trying since 2014 to get them back to replace a broken window. I was told om 09/10/14 that the replacement part is in and that they would come ASAP to install. I have documented at least 9 other calls and 1 fax to the company, 99% of the time you get an answering machine and receive no return call. We have a 30 year guarantee on the window.Desired Settlement: Considering we've waited over a year to get this resolved. We want the broken window repaired immediately .
