When Mr [redacted] bought his gift card he booked an appointment for Thursday December 21st, but did not show upWe called him on the 21st with no responceHis son came in on December 28th for what he thought was his appointmentWe informed him his appointment was on the 21stHe said no big deal my dad probably wrote down the wrong date, at that point we rescheduled him for January , he said thank you and leftAbout an hour later Mr [redacted] called and stated he wrote the on his paperworkHe then stated why did you not call me on the 21st, we said we did callHe then began swearing , Bob informed Mr [redacted] our company policy was to terminate the call if swearing continuedMr [redacted] continued to swear at witch point Bob terminated the callMr [redacted] called back saying " what are you guys a bunch of x__xxx x__xxx that can't handle swear words" at that point Bob terminated the 2nd call.I fail to see a problem since the work was resheduled with no problem with the gift card holderWe have been in buisness for years and pride ourselves on customer service and quality work.Thank you,Michael C [redacted]

Sat4-9-2016This letter is in response to ID# *** *** ***The pad & carpet was only one project of contractHad to supply & install steel beams in basementFill cracks on North wall of basement, repair drywall on interior of home, prime & paint walls & ceilingsAll
which have been completed & Miss *** has inspected & is very satisfiedMiss *** is a very nice personShe & I have done other projects together with no problemsIt is true that the pad & carpet need to be completed, I have been going thru some health problems and have not been able to complete the project for pad & carpetI hired a subcontractor to do this pad & carpet as I was not able to do the physical labor due to my health Gave the money to buy carpet & pad since I was in the hospital & was not able to purchase the products myselfThat person has not been answering my calls & has not completed the work This is very embarrassingI was hoping to be able to buy the pad & carpet myself so I would not default on my obligation to Miss ***I just haven't had the funds to do so, as I have not been able to work due to my healthI will contact Miss *** and explain the situationShe & I will work it out to here satisfactionI am very sorry it came to thisI should have called & told her what had happened but I was extremly embarrassed.Sincerely,Les H***

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.This is nonsense"Bob" is lying if this is indeed what he said.First of all, I did not book the appointment when I bought the cardI did as I said in the previous correspondence, waiting to book the appointment when I knew the work schedule of my son which was a few weeks laterSecondly, my response to him when he said that they "probably were busy and did not call me to notify me that an appointment was missed (there was no call and my cell phone records will prove that), I said to him that was xx; that no call was made and not calling was a poor way to run a businessAdditionally, not satisfying a customer is also bad businessNo other words were spoken (another lie) as "Bob" hung upWhen I called back, there were no "swear" words exchanged"Bob" is a liarIn fact, I said "I guess you don't like the word xx and I am sorry if that offended you"He then told me the appointment was for the 19th and hung up on me againThere was no foul exchange as "Bob" is reported to have saidI don't use those wordsHe is a liarIn any case, the fact is that the service was not done when scheduled and the business made no attempt to call me to correct the issue if there was in incorrect date that they scheduled (I clearly scheduled it for after Christmas as it was a Christmas gift)The cell records will show that there was no callFinally, I can not trust that these people who are rude and lie, will faithfully work on the truck without committing an error whether by accident or deliberatelyI only wish the refund as was asked of AMEXThe reviews on line do not have exemplary commentary for their work and customer interactionI learned this after the factIf they agree to the AMEX refund, all will be over

Les H[redacted] sent me a letter, and he has some serious health problems.  I propose that I arrange for [redacted]'* to install the carpet and pad, and have Mr. H[redacted] pay for the installation.  This would satisfactorily complete the job. Please respond to this proposal.Thank you,[redacted]
