Took my Caddy to get service, these days you get a service plan when you buy these animals. I wanted my oil changed and inspection sticker, they did the oil change and wouldn't give me my inspection sticker. They said the fluid tank was cracked. We tried the whipper and the fluids worked just fine. I told them it was working they said it was my rear whipper. I tried them it, the fluids wasn't working. They said it would be $495 for the cracked reservoir. I was charged $45 for the inspection but no sticker.They have done this several times in the pass on other vehicles. I never question them. I'm a long time customer. I felt suspicious so I took it to my friends place where they service my Mercedes. They notice someone had taken the clamp that held the hose that went to the rear pump. The reservoir tank was not cracked.
The clamp was completely gone. The hose looks brand new. They put a new clamp on for me to a devastating charge of $79, inspection $35.
I called my Cadillac, MacMulkin Cadillac, dealer today. Told them how outraged I was. I'm sending copies of their diagnosis as well as the diagnosis of the people who repaired and spotted the obvious tampering. The people who own this dealership, and it's a big dealership, went to school with my wife. We trusted them. You just never know how far people will go too betray, lie and steal from others, just to make commission.
My wife was in an accident she was hit from behind by three cars, my insurance company was there the very next day, cut a check and it took MacMulkin 3 months to fix my car. Minor damage to the bumper and exhaust. They're excuse, they had forgotten that my insurance company had already gave them a check.
I called them today spoke with one of the managers that is very nice guy. I told him we will never go back there again, I explained what happened and he wanted to make things right, only after I told them I was sending copies of their report, and the report of the dealer who fixed and inspected my issue to the State Attorney Generals office, Revdex.com, and sending a emails out too the thousand of people who follow my music.
Buyer beware. They took my friendship and easy going relationship for granted.
If your going too buy a Cadillac, don't but at MacMulkin in Nashua NH or any one of their other locations.
They are dishonest, they will take you kindness as a weakness.
