Review: I have previously contracted with Windows Unlimited two times over the past few years to replace windows at my mothers home in Pittsburgh. In November of 2012, I contracted with Windows Unlimited to have 8 windows replaced and paid the 50% deposit as required by the contract- an appointment to install the windows would be made once the windows were received. In late January, after hearing nothing from Windows Unlimited, I repeatedly left voice mail messages in an attempt to obtain the status of the windows and their installation. Early February, I was finally able to reach someone and was told that the windows had been ordered but the manufacturer had delivered them in the wrong color and that they had to be re-ordered and to check back in a few weeks. In late February I checked back and was told that Windows Unlimited was short-handed and would call in a couple of weeks to set up an installation date. When a couple of weeks had passed and I still heard nothing, I followed up and I was given the option of two installation dates. I was told that the windows would be installed and that the balance of the contract was due upon completion that day. I was told by my mother (the occupant of the home) that she had given the installers the contract balance but that they had not finished the installation and promised to return to install the window trim. Since April 6th I have spoken with Ron and Mark Murosky who have both indicated that they were shorthanded and would give me a call in two weeks to put us on the schedule. Despite my following up every two three weeks since the original installation on April 6th, the job is incomplete.Desired Settlement: I would like the services that I paid for: i.e., windows installed with trim.

Review: In February of 2013 this contractor was sub contracted by [redacted] to do a siding job on my house,@ that time the job looked good. In March 2013, [redacted] came back and did a repair on the [redacted] job. At this time, I then signed a contract #031713 with Windows Unlimited ([redacted]), and paid 1/2 (1100.) for them to install 2 windows and put siding on 1/2 of the lower portion of my house which was a partial basement. After months of waiting, [redacted] came in June and replaced the windows. Me knowing that they were a small out of town company having truck issues, I told [redacted] to have his company come by October to finish the job. I also said to just come and get it done and when I come home from work I would pay them. I felt that I was being very fair and flexible. They have not come to do the job. I call now and get excuses of a broken down truck, they were going to call me, and "I will tell [redacted]", and now no answer. During my attempts trying to reach the company, I have stated that I would like to have the job finished, and they will get the rest of the money, or tell me that they do not want to do the job and send me a partial refund, because I know that 2 windows do not cost $1100. that I have already paid. I tried to call [redacted]'s cell phone number ###-###-#### today and a lady answered and said that she has had this number since July and it is not the Windows Unlimited number that is printed on my contract.Desired Settlement: By October 31, 2013, I would like to have the job finished and they will get the rest of their money or give me a refund of $500.00 because $1100. is an expensive price for the 2 windows that they installed. I am still willing to work with them, but I do not see any willingness from their side.

Review: In the summer of 2012, I entered into a contract with Windows Unlimited to have new windows, roof, doors, and siding put on my daughters home. Additionally, the contract included a small addition. After construction ended in November 2012, Mr. [redacted] (Company owner) was paid in full for his services, and given a separate additional amount for an extra window to be delivered within 4 wks of that date. Since that time I have contacted Mr. [redacted] multiple times to inquire about delivery of the window. At first, he would respond and say the wrong window was ordered, or that he had the window and it would be dropped off later that week. However, we never received the window, and it has been months since Mr. [redacted] or his company have returned my calls regarding this matter. Additionally, the work and products installed were said to have a lifetime warranty. As of today, Mr. [redacted] has been contacted, by my self, multiple times and informed that the siding is noticeably bubbling, one window no longer closes properly, neither door was installed correctly, and the gutters leak at every connecting point. Neither I or my daughter have received any feedback whatsoever from Windows Unlimited or [redacted] regarding this matter. Additionally, shortly after construction ended at the home, we were contacted by a sub-contractor that Mr. [redacted] had brought in for window installation and siding installation. He had never been paid by Windows Unlimited and was informing us of his intention to file a lien against the property. We contacted [redacted] and he said it would be taken care of, but unfortunately it was not. I ended up having to pay the sub-contractor to avoid the lien. It is approaching a year since construction ended at the home, and neither Mr. [redacted] or his company have made any attempt to fix the problems at the home, or provided the window that was paid for in full.Desired Settlement: I would like the gutters to be re-sealed so that they no longer leak. The doors need to be properly installed. The bubbled siding needs replaced, and the window needs corrected. Basically, the warranty of his products and services needs to be honored. In addition, I would expect delivery of the window that was paid for, or a refund of my money for the window.

Review: I agreed to have a door installed on 8/13/13. Paid down $1320.00. Door still has not been installed. If you call office at ###-###-#### you sometimes speak to this guy named [redacted]. He states he only takes messages for [redacted], the man who came and agreed to install front door and who also took check. [redacted] never returns calls or answers his cell at 724 581 6878. At one point I did tell [redacted] that I want my money back and to cancel the order. I am tired of waiting, also cold. The only reason I chose this company was that I had windows previously installed several years ago and had no trouble. I appreciate your help.Desired Settlement: Refund money $1320.00
