Windscape Village Apartments

Review: I dropped off an application to rent an apartment on Sunday, March 2, 2014. On Monday, March 3, I called Ariel Shelby to find out the status of my application. She mentioned that she hadn't got to it yet but she would. She also told me that I would know if I qualified in about 15 minutes. She told me she would return my call. On Tuesday, March 4, I still hadn't heard from her so I called to get the status of our application and she said she needed additional information. Copies of income and dates of employment faxed to her. So I went to OfficeMax and had the papers copied and faxed to her, never heard back from her. I called again later that day and she mentioned that she thought we were no longer interested in the apartment. We had sent it early that afternoon. She told me she hadn't received it yet. So she put me on hold and went to check her fax machine and told me something was wrong with her fax machine and my paperwork was just starting to be received. She told me she would call me in about 5 minutes. Never heard from her again!! I called again on Wednesday, March 5, she still couldn't provide me with the status of my application. So I requested a call from her supervisor, I felt by now we should have known weither we qualified or not! Ariel put me on hold to get her supervisor to talk with me, then came back and told me her supervisor was in a meeting, that sounded very fishy. That morning we received a call from another apartment complex that had emailed me three times, called me twice about moving into their complex, by now I was feed up with the staff at Windscape Village. So I applied and in less than an hour we were approved. I checked on Monday, March 6 and noticed they had surely cashed my check, but as far as today 12:39 pm I haven't heard from them today. So I feel since I didn't receive a service that I paid for I should get a refund. Otherwise they should have told me that I either qualified or not!!!Desired Settlement: I feel I am owed a refund, since I paid for a service that was never rendered to me.
