I asked for a quote and then asked when where and how I had missed the phone call so they just didn’t bother to call me
Back or anything I had to rent a car for the days I have not had my truck for work which was $266 a day and I’m broke as it is but they sent me an email saying my windshield was done and they charged me twice for it even are you frickin kidding me I can barely afford to live and they think it’s ok to just steal $612 from someone after I had to pay so much for a rental because they don’t know how to confirm appointments you will see in my pictures that my windshield is still very much smashed and I was charged twice! I couldn’t afford the $1500 loan I had to get to cover the overdraft the 2 charges and a rental car just so I could get to work and keep my job so I can survive

Never showed or called yet the money for the windshield was taken from my bank account
I scheduled an appointment for Saturday 12/26 (9:00-1:00 arrival). I spoke with someone that stated I needed to answer my phone/if I did not the technician would skip me and go to the next stop. I spent my Saturday waiting around and never received a call and nobody ever showed. Because they never showed and didn't even call I was just going to take my business elsewhere. I then realized that they money for the installation was taken from my bank account! I am in the process of disputing with my bank or attempting to get a credit.

There service is Horrible the night before the appointment they said they did not have the correct windshield for my car and would not fix the issue the customer service rep was not very nice and I asked to have a manager called me and never contacted me. They also said they had a problem with my CC zip code and were trying to bill me before job was going to even happen. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. SCAM IF YOU ASK ME... I went with a different company they were out next day for me.

This order was placed after hours on Friday requesting an appointment for the next Monday afternoon (Our offices are closed over the weekend)We often use multiple installers in an area and can get someone out same day in some casesWe explain in a note at checkout that we will check

To whom ever I spoke toI let them know the paint was intact before their serviceThey continue to fault bmw instead of acept responsibilty for their technician stripping the paint from one side to the otherI would never use them again or recommend them to anyoneThis person is rude, insensitve and very unprofessionalI'm not going to bmw and make claims knowing I did not have it before their serviceI sent them several photos that anyone would notice this before entering the carI and my wife are certain it did not exist before their unsatisfactory workI'm reporting this so none else has to be subjected to something like this and to be aware of this company

Dear Sirs,Based on the customers explaination of where the crack developed (in the center of the windshield), I explained that it is highly unlikely the result of a defective glassHe questioned how it could have happened and I explained windshields usually stress on top, bottom or sides
but never generating from the middle of the glassThe glass had to have been impacted by an object and pitted which eventually spread into a crackThe customer was adamant his glass was not struckI requested pictures so I could have a visual and be better able to assess his problemFrom the pictures presented there was an obvious pit right in the center of the crackIn fact there were approximately pits that I countedI explained the cold temperatures along with the direct defrosting of the windshield causes glass to expand and contract and any pits on the glass can develop into a crackThe customer said his glass was dirty and what I'm seeing are dirt marksI told him I will send an installer on site so he can give him a more professional opinion. He will bring a replacement glass with himIf it is a stress crack the replacement will be covered under warranty. However if his assessment is that the glass is pitted which led to a crack, we have to discuss a method of payment as it is not covered under warrantyWindshields to go prides itself in addressing and solving each complaint as best as possibleHowever, based on the evidence provided this glass did not stress crack and neither is it a defective glass, we are not able to honor a Manufacturers Defect Warranty at this timePlease see the attached pictures for your perusalThank youSincerely,*** ***WTG

As explained the glass we sold you was an original equipment brandWhen someone orders "glass only" we can not be responsible for damage to the part by a third person after it leaves the warehouseThis door glass is a laminated style and if an
installer were to hit it in any way during the installation process a crack could appear after it is rolled up and downOur staff handled it correctly based on our policy that once the part
leaves the warehouse in good condition, it can not be returned damagedHaving said the I took a look at the picture you sent over and I believe that their was nothing wrong with the glass but that when the attachment was glued on by the manufacturer, a condition occurred where the glass instead of being cushioned in the rubberized glue, came in contact with the metal attachment and that is why it crackedThis is a very uncommon problem. Since I believe this could have been a manufacture problem I have credited your credit card in fullSorry for the inconvenience

In response to MrC*** complaintI requested pictures (standard procedure) from him so we could have a visual and address the problemHowever, the pictures we received showed the customer vehicle had an obvious (clear coat paint) peeling issueBoth the
technician and myself explained there are no tools that we use that can create this as the molding has a rubber flap which sits on the glass and the clip tool which is used to release each molding clip is placed between the rubberized flap and the glass I further explained to him the peeling looks aged and that BMW has been having a paint problem for the last couple of yearsWe forwarded him a few blogs noting other BMW owners complaints regarding sameWe are willing to settle any claims as long as we are responsible for the damages and as evidenced by the attached pictures we are clearly not at faultThe customer needs to contact BMWThank you for the opportunity to maintain AAA standard through your organizationSincerely,

In the morning when we came in on the 17th, we called our installer and he said he would pick up the glass at our warehouse instead of the delay of us having the glass delivered. He said he could...

make it to you before 1pm and then said it would be later after you called saying he had not showed. Our installers are instructed to call if they are running late and he failed to do so. (The installer was being dishonest if he told you he did not have your info until the next day)  You canceled the order. We sent you a message that your order had been canceled at 1:38 PM the 17th. Your credit card had been authorized only and not charged. Authorizations fall off at a time determined by your bank. If the card used is a debit card the funds are put on hold. On the 18th we ran an authorization reversal, a service our processor has that can speed up the time the hold can fall off.

Review: I purchased a windshield from Windshields togo on 05/2014. Less than seven months later I started up my engine turn on the heat in my car and the glass starts to crack. at first I didn't know what to think of this. But I realized this was some sort of defective windshield. I called Windshield to about replacing the windshield, and before they knew anything about the situation they start telling me they don't honor warranties for cracked windshield. I insist that they replace their defective product and pointed to their website that there is a warranty for defective product. they requested that I email them a picture of the windshield. The rep received the picture and claims there are impact marks all over the windshield. I disagreed with her at which we begin to debate the matter and I asked her what is her qualification as in expert in the field of impact cracks in a windshield. She states her expertise comes from replacing windshields for 15 years. After going back and forth for a few minutes the rep begins telling stop yelling and hangs up the phone.Desired Settlement: I want my defective windshield replaced.
