Mr [redacted] did have a issue with a incorrect spare tire and at the time The dealership had his car towed in and fixed his flat at no cost to himNot knowing if it had the wrong tire we ordered him a new spare tire for his carWhen he returned we gave him the new tire at no cost to him.Windy city would not take the time to order a tire just to have it be incorrectA great deal of time has past and we can not be responsible almost years laterWe could order an additional tire for him at our cost and test it before he leaves our dealership so he is sure it works correctlyIf this is something he would like to do please have him contact me at 773-***- [redacted] and I will help in this processthank you [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:It seems that the dealership accepted responsibility when they replaced the initial incorrect spareIt also seems that that same responsibility should extend to this incorrect spareI can bring the current incorrect spare back to the dealership and I'm certain that it will match their records as being the same one they sent me away with last timeIt still has the same tireIt's fully inflatedI don't want anyone thinking I'm running some sort of scam to try and get another wheel and tire out of this I'm sorry, but I feel like the dealership should be responsible for covering the entire costI know it has been over two years since the purchase, but this is something that could happen anytimeAnd, like I said before, it seems like Windy City understood that it was their fault and quickly moved to rectify the situation initiallyIt just happened that there was a mix up, and I don't feel like I should have to pay for itIf they could order a replacement once at no cost to me, why couldn't they do it again? It's fully inflated.
