Complaint$50 paid on 2/26/2016 for class on March 10, company cancelled and had yet to refund my money after repeated attempts. Will not return calls.My order #XXXXXXXXX with Wine and Design Raleigh. [redacted] is the owner. Someone called to cancel the class the day of the event on March 10th at 6:30pm due to the Museum having a private event. I asked for refund as I'm unable to reschedule due to my work schedule. Have sent repeated emails for when my refund would be issued, and have only recently been told (4/6/2016) that my email was/has been forward to the owner and that they were confident that she would contact me. On 4/11/2016 [redacted] left a voice mail asking me to call back with how to issue refund. I was told my the employee in the studio that my refund would be issued, and it has not happened as of date, and my 3 co-workers have yet to receive theirs either.Desired SettlementI want a refund as promised by the business!Business Response The [redacted] of [redacted] contracted the class in question. It was rescheduled twice, and both times the [redacted] cancelled two hours before the event.I have already spoken to these women and taken care of this matter myself by refunding all four of them on April 13 and gave them a gift certificate in the amount of $70 for two people for something that was out of our control.Consumer Response This matter has been resolved. I hate that it had to escalate to filing a complaint, and hope that this will not happen to others in the future. I do not place all blame on the museum, as it was Wine and Design that took my money, and scheduled the class.Final Consumer Response

Business is rude and refusing to refund our moneyOn 3/10, two hours before our class start time we were called and told our class was cancelled and was rescheduled for 4/8. On 4/8 two hours before class start time we were called and the class was cancelled again. We were told that they would give us a refund but we are still waiting to get our money back. One of my friends couldn't make the rescheduled class and has been waiting for over a month to get her money back. We were told that the owner took the machine that processes refunds out of town with her so they can't give us our money back.Desired SettlementI just want my money refunded, like I was promised Business Response The Museum of History contracted the class in question.
