The delivery truck did break down and had no cell service.  Delivery is scheduled for Monday after 2pm and the customer has been compensated in the form of $100 gift card.

Review: I purchased a wine rack from them 3 1/2 years ago. Said wine rack has now become unstable jeopardizing the wine contained in it. I called several times and sent photographs of the issue. I was told I should not expect a wine rack to last 4 years, the weight of the wine may cause the rack to need readjustment and humidity may have cause the wood to shrink (notwithstanding the fact that the pieces meant to keep the rack stable had come apart). I was offered nothing other than a discount on another unit (why would I purchase another defective unit)?Desired Settlement: Repair of said unit.

Review: I received an online sale brochure. I wanted to purchase item [redacted] it was an item 179.95 with 15% off items $99 or more and the banner above it said free shipping, there were exclusions. I opened the exclusions the item was not in the box, so I tried to purchase it on-line. The system would not take off shipping. I called them and was told oh no there is no free shipping. But it told them when I opened the item specifically the banner showed the 15% of and along side of it showed free shipping. They said there were exclusions, I said it was not mentioned in the exclusions, and that if that banner opened with the item it was very misleading bordering on fraudulent. I ordered the item because I could not find it anywhere as no one else seems to have it, at least based on my search. It is my opinion that their advertising is misleading in hopes people do not catch the math.Desired Settlement: Stop the potentially misleading advertising, and adjust my bill by removing shipping! Do not have a banner with both the sale and another discount that does not apply to that object together when you open an item page. Any rational person would believe that those would apply to that individual product, especially if it is not specifically mentioned in the exceptions, and if some one even sees the aster-ix, which I did and investigated and saw no specific exception. I make hundreds of purchases on-line, and most vendors get it right, this vendor charges an arm and a leg for their products, and does not spend the time to accurately advertise its items.

Review: I ordered a Christmas gift for my husband on December **. In the confirmation email I received, it stated that "for on-time Christmas delivery, order by December **" - which I did. But the glasses did not arrive for Christmas.

I had still not received the gift by December **, so I called (first call) the company; I spoke to someone who said it would be shipped overnight and arrive the next day, Christmas Eve. When it did not arrive, I called again (second call) on Christmas Eve and spoke to another staffer who said there were no more deliveries that day, but the gift was now likely to arrive at the end of the month.

I then sent an email (first email) complaint to the company, and received a reply from a customer service representative that stated "the vendor will be sending the glasses out by the end of the week. Since this item shipped from a different warehouse not directly from Wine Enthusiast we put our trust in our vendors to have these order shipped out on time." They also offered a merchant coupon and their apologies.

The coupon arrived early the week of January *, but not the glasses. I emailed (second email) the company again and was told "These glass will be shipping by the middle of next week. We just hear from the vendor they had a delay with these orders."

I do appreciate that the company replied to my emails - but I do not trust that this order will be fulfilled - and I don't know why they would send me a merchant coupon because I would prefer never to work with this company again.Desired Settlement: I would like a complete refund (order costs and shipping charges) for the hassles of having to contact the company again and again to find out the status of the order (I just looked at the website, and in the tracking, the status still reads "in process.") - AND I would like the gift delivered (since they were glasses personalized for my husband, and cannot be returned). Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Review: I recently purchased the 21 bottle dual zone wine fridge and within 45 days the product broke. There is a big sign on the instruction manual that stated "If there is a problem, please do not return the product and to call us for a resolution." I called them and the customer service told me that it was [redacted] problem and not theirs. She was incredible rude!Desired Settlement: I would like the product replaced at their cost with a new working model.

Review: I placed an order through Wine Enthusiast on June [redacted] of 2013. I made a call to Wine Enthusiast after the order had not shipped for more than two weeks and spoke directly with a representative who assured me that the package would ship soon. I then received an email on July [redacted] that the order successfully shipped. I called and left a voice message to Wine Enthusiast informing them that although I had received such an email, the package was never received by the intended recipient. This message was never returned.

I recently called on Tuesday, September [redacted] to inform Wine Enthusiast that if this was not resolved immediately, I would issue a charge back through Chase. [redacted], a customer service representative with Wine Enthusiast, informed me that she would either email me or call me immediately upon contacting the shipping company involved.

I did not receive a response from [redacted] or any other customer service representative after my call on Tuesday. I followed up with an email complaint to the website. While I would normally allow for several business days, I had already waited 77 days since the placement of my order and therefore thought the situation merited urgency.

[redacted] responded to my email with a statement that the product was "delivered" on September [redacted], the day after our phone conversation. However, the gift recipient never received the item. Note that she lives in an apartment complex with a doorman, so the delivery company can not claim that no one was available to receive the shipment.

For me, the best resolution would be for Wine Enthusiast to immediately ship the product; this was a wedding gift to my sister, and I am both embarrassed and frustrated that the product has not yet been received. Based on the fact that the company currently has 1.5 stars on [redacted] and has received similar complaints from other customers, I would also hope that the Revdex.com conducts a more extensive investigation as to whether or not this business is in fact legitimate.Desired Settlement: Prompt delivery of order or immediate return of all funds, including cost of product, taxes, and shipping.

Review: I ordered a sign on November **, 2013. Wine enthusiast said to allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. It is now December **, 2013 and there has still be no delivery. I have called customer service over 6 times and they have told me they are working on sending the product out and they have yet to do so. When I asked to cancel the product they said I could not. When I asked to speak to a manager 3 times, every time they put me on hold until the store closed and told me the manager was unavailable.Desired Settlement: I want the delivery of order OR I want to be able to cancel the order.

Review: On February *, 2010 I purchased an Nfinity 170 bottle 2 temp wine fridge from Wine Enthusiast to preserve a wine collection worth several thousand dollars. In addition to the wine fridge I purchased a 5 year warranty based on the promises they made on their website regarding this service, which include the following:

Service is just a quick toll-free call away. Our call center is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our experienced representatives will help you with your replacement and make sure you receive it quickly and effortlessly. It’s that easy!

On 04/**/14 the wine fridge stopped cooling. I immediately called the company expecting a quick and effortless process, which would insure this is resolved as they represented on their website. The lady took down my information and said someone would be in touch ASAP for the repair. I stressed to her the urgency to avoid my wine being ruined.

On the [redacted] nobody had called so I followed up. They told me that they no longer repair these units, as the company does not have the parts. They would either send me a new unit or issue me a refund of the purchase. I asked to speak to a [redacted] and they transferred me to [redacted] at extension [redacted]. I left him a voicemail that day, and two other the next days without any response. I called and asked to speak to someone else, who informed me that the process would take weeks, plus the shipping.

By not failing to return my call and handle this matter “quickly and effortlessly” as they promised upon the purchase of the warranty they are in breach of the contract.Desired Settlement: Due to their delay in addressing my concern I have made other arrangements for my wine, although several bottles have spoiled as a result. Furthermore it makes no sense for me to accept a replacement fridge if they (as confirmed) are not able to repair the units.

I want a full refund of the purchase price for the wine fridge of $1,799.

The products sold by this business are priced high but have poor quality. Nonetheless, the customer service representatives are not helpful about it at all. I received an item as a gift but it came in broken. One representative says they'll send a replacement but then transfers me to another representative who says she can't help me. This place has poor quality products and poor customer service, but very high prices. It is a complete loss for consumers to do business with them

Review: I placed an order with this company for a gift to be delivered in time for christmas. The webpage was clear and guaranteed that if ordered by the date in which this order was placed, it would be delivered in time for Christmas. As the date grew closer, I called and texted 3 times to check on the order. In each case I was told in no uncertain terms that the order would be shipped the next day with overnight delivery in time for christmas. It is now December ** and I still do not have the gift and the website still shows the package has not been shipped. Now, when I call or try to use chat, I am dropped off the call before I get a response. Today I received an Email saying shipping is now scheduled for February *. This is not acceptable, especially given that I received numerous guarantees of the delivery date. The order number was [redacted]. It is not the value of the order that I am upset about, it is the promise made that apparently there was no intention of meeting.Desired Settlement: Delivered order and they should be fined for not delivering on guarantees

Review: Our N'Finity Wine Enthusiast fridge purchased from Costco is no longer keeping our wine chilled. The tempature is the same as the room and it blows warm air throughout the device.

When contacting the tech support for N'Finity they said that it is out of warranty and tough luck. Only solution is to buy a new machine. Given this machine is about 5 years old and over a $1000 new, it seems unrealistic to buy a new wine fridge every 5 years.Desired Settlement: I need Wine Enthusiast to stand behind their product and fix their wine fridge.

Review: I cannot get off their mailing list. I purchased one item in January 2014 and have been receiving their catalogs approximately 2x a month since then. Since June 2014 I have attempted to get off their mailing list by calling the company and requesting removal; they stated it would take 1-3 more catalogs before they stopped. They didn't stop. Four more calls and a bulk mail online catalog request - and I am still receiving them. The last two calls I was told by Customer Service that they went in the "back door" straight to the mailing department to honor my request....and yet I keep receiving. The last call in late January 2015 I was "guaranteed" no more catalogs; I also told them if I received another I would report them to the Revdex.com. They assured me I would not receive another. And yet, today, February *, 2015 I received another.

I am incredibly disappointed in this company. I love the one product I ordered, but do not wish to be on their mail list.Desired Settlement: NO MORE CONTACT
