To whom this may concern, [redacted] brought his vehicle in on 5-26-for two issue with the HVAC system The first complaint was air would not blow out of the front vents and the second complaint was the air would come out of the defrost vent, but would not blow cold Our first priority was to determine why air would not come out of the front vents The technician diagnose found two ac actuators that weren’t functioning properly causing air to not come out of the front vents We provided the customer a estimate to fix that issue and to also do a evacuate and recharge and add ac dye for the issue with the air blowing warm The customer agreed to the repair and the technician fixed the customer concerns Air condition Freon is a gas and you cannot see it with the visible eye, which is why the technician added dye to determine where Freon was leaking out of the ac system for the condition of air blowing warm While the vehicle was in the shop the technician was never able to determine if and where the Freon was leaking from the vehicle The customer was notified several times and is even documented on the customers receipt The customer was advised that if the ac system began to blow warm again that the vehicle would need to come back so that the technician could take a black light and try to determine where the ac dye was leaking out at The technician was able to determine that the rear auxiliary hvac lines where leaking The customer was provided an estimate to fix that issue and was given a percent off discount to promote customer satisfaction and for the customer having just spend a great deal of money to fix the issue with the air not blowing out of the vents The customer was very irate about this and was not happy Over the next couple of days the service manager and service writer tried to talk to the customer and explain everything and the customer just screamed profanity and made several threats to both employees We tried to explain to the customer that had the technician found the Freon leak, while the vehicle was in the shop on the first visit that the customer still would have been responsible for the additional repair Depending on how bad the Freon leak is sometimes a technician is able to determine quickly where a leak is coming from and sometimes it can take several weeks, and that is why the customer was made aware of that I have attached copies of both customer receipts Please let me know if you need any additional information Thank youGary B [redacted] **Service MangerWinegardner Motor Company.###-###-####

[redacted] I paid over 2000$ to get my air fixed it is not fixed when I paid they said your truck is good to go. I would not have paid this money if I would have known that the problem was not for sure taken care of. Nobody would have paid this amount of money and not been for sure that the problem was taken care. They tell me its a problem in the rear ac line and evaporater.. so I take it to another professional place for them to check it out and they tell me that it is leaking in the dash.. this is exactly where the winegardner dealership that I paid over 2000$ dollars took apart the dash.. so the problem is where they supposedly fixed.. and I have documentation from the professional business stating where the leake is coming from.. I called the winegardner dealership to tell them this at their service team were very disrespectful.. they told me they dont care were I went their mechanics said its a leak in the rear ac line so dats what it is. And said they are to busy to servicy vehicle. Wont be able to see it intill two weeks. I paid over 2000 dollar's for my air to work and blow cold. My air is not blowing cold. I have to drive my vehicle with my three kids with no air. My children are sweating and are becoming to be sick because I have no air in my truck. We are miserable.  I got to this business for them to fix the problem.
