to anamicable agreement for him.The original glasses were purchased thru his vision insurance in July of 2015.  We never anything from him that his glassesweren't working for him until he showed back up in the office in April.  So in 9 months we never heard a word that the glasses weren't workingor providing him with what he expected.  His vision insurance gives him 6 months to get glasses remade at no cost.  He missed that window.  Sincewe try to ensure every patient leaves our office satisfied, we agreed to remake his glasses into a different form of correction and not charge him anything.  Thiscost was directly paid by my business.  His insurance didn't provide us any payment towards the remake of his glasses 9 months after he got them.  There are a lotof things that can change in the eyes in 9 months and we offered to recheck his prescription (he denied) as well as talk about other options.  He agreed to have the glassesremade into reading glasses, without any mention of money back.  3 weeks after getting them, taking them and using them, he called in demanding all of his money back.  This is against our office policy when 3 different things happen.  1. He missed the window on getting them remade/refunded through his vision care plan.  2. He denied allowing us to work with him to identify other options.  3. Wineinger Eyecare<[email protected]>9:29 AM (1 hour ago)tomeWhile we 100 percent disagree with Mr. [redacted] accusations in his response.  We will let him win and refund his money.  Mr. [redacted] was in our office but it was for other medical issues regarding his eyes.  Never once was it mentioned that the glasses weren't working.  9 months later he comes in and says they don't work.  I'd like to see any other material purchase in any other industry or from our other competitors get completely refunded 9 months later after use.  I'd also like Mr. [redacted] to call his insurance and see what they say about glasses being completely refunded 9 months after purchase.  We did try to rectify the situation by remaking his glasses at completely no charge to him 9 months after purchase.  This was an exception to our office policy.  So to say nothing was done to rectify the situation is an incorrect statement.This situation could have completely been resolved to the benefit of both parties if Mr. [redacted] would have let us know within 30 days that the glasses weren't working.  To say this is all the fault of Wineinger Eyecare is a completely false statement.But we'll let him win and refund his money via a check mailed to Mr. Ellis.  Please allow 2 weeks for processing.Wineinger Eyecare7505 Quivira RoadShawnee, KS 66216913-631-0090www.eyesofkc.com
