[redacted] MrPollock, I have received your second letter regarding this complaint So what I did was to put in another call to Mr [redacted] regarding the situation I am a firm believer if two gentleman can sit down and discuss their differences a resolution can be made That was my intention regarding this complaint I called Mr [redacted] for the second time and told him who I was At that time he hung up on meI thought maybe we might have gotten disconnected so I called back and got the voice mail I do acknowledge Mr [redacted] 's concerns he felt that that he had been overcharged The situation is that the cost of the room is based on an average so within the three days the average is $The stipulation for this Rate Code SPis that you must stay nights So if you don't stay the nights it automatically goes back to the rate of the day I spoke with Wyndham Headquaters and they explained to me that the situation was taken care of by them and that is what I asked Mr [redacted] the first time I spoke with him If the situation had been taken care of? Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because an offer was NOT made to move us across the hall to another room and that it would take 5 minutes. This statement is disingenuous at best. The fact remains we requested assistance due to an A/C repair problem, followed instructions that were given to us to correct the A/C unit which only worked for a few minutes, and then around 11pm/midnight when we asked for help (because the unit was not working properly) we were told the repairman or person from engineering who was supposed to be on call had taken a sleeping pill and it would be unsafe to drive and correct the problem. Marginalizing, trivializing or making it sound like we were unreasonable hotel guests is not going to fly here. Just own up to what happened, so we can move on. Regards, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: The response by the manager is unacceptableFirst of all he only asked me if the main office contacted me, he did not elaborate on anything else. Attached is the confirmation e-mail I received after booking my hotel room on 8-9-2014 with a confirmation number and states a charge of $a night for roomsWhen we arrived the front desk lady could not accept this confirmation and she stated she had to talk to manager the next dayThere is no were in this confirmation that $is an estimated charge like the manager statedAs far as checking out the next day, we checked out early because we had the worst experience with the manager at this hotel. He would not honor our confirmation amount of $113.87 and wanted to charge us an extra $40-$a night to stay on our scheduled dates

Today I was going to see if there was anything else that I could  for him but was unable to get that far.  I do want to keep the lines of communication open because that is the right thing to do.
