Dear Revdex.com representatives, The room this person stayed in was inspected several times and no insects were ever found The photo he showed our front desk was not taken in one of our hotel rooms It is a photo of a insect from somewhere else This room was specially deep cleaned on its schedule the day before and no insects were seen according to the executive housekeeper and the room attendantsWe have a pest control contract with [redacted] which ensures all rooms are treated each month We do not have any ck roaches that we are aware of Nevertheless, and only as a good will gesture we refunded $room charges plus tax in order to resolve this claim for which we were unable to find any evidenceAfter staying in our hotel for two nights, we again inspected this room and no insects were present at all We strongly believe this is a fraudulent attempt to get free hotel rooms by showing a photo of a ck roachOther hotels did in fact have rooms available on Friday June 16, and some did not fill, so the statement that he could not find another hotel is blatantly false Why would someone spend two nights in a hotel room with insects in the room...? [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]Yes it is true that I made the reservation with my wife's credit card but that should not have made any difference.  The room was already prepaid on line and what if another person who was not on staying at the hotel booked the reservation but did not stay at the hotel.   I traveled for many years and never booked my reservation nor use my credit card since the room was already paid for.   The problem here was the receptionist could see my wife who was ill sitting 20 feet from the door of the hotel but still needed to see her ID.   I gave the receptionist another credit card and told her to charge the room on it but because it was already booked and paid for on line she could not.   Since my wife was ill, my plan was to check in myself and go with my wife to get medication and come back later with the luggage.   I did not insult the young lady by telling her she had no common sense but I did ask her to use common sense in this situation.   I was also given a handicap room which I didn't ask for as far away from the elevators as possible.   I did leave my "do not disturb sign on my room door but removed it when we left at 10:15 am to go out returned at 7:30pm only to find the room not ready.   I think people do sleep in until 10:00am and I take not responsibility for that because I did remove the sign.   I will in the future not recommend that hotel chain to anyone as they seem to put all the blame on me and my being a law enforcement officer had nothing to do with this, it just came up in conversation.

Hello Revdex.com Representatives, Mr. [redacted] wife [redacted] made the reservation in her name alone and used her credit card to guarantee the reservation.   We cannot rent a room reserved in another person's name without the permission of that person, as we do not know the relationship...

between different people and this policy is obviously in place for security reasons.  We asked that Mrs. [redacted] come in to register and provide her ID to register for the room as it was in her name only. Mr. [redacted] wanted the hotel to break all normal security rules for him as he was a retired police officer from [redacted].  We apologized for any inconvenience, however we did need for her to come in to show ID for the room and for use of her credit card. For Mr. [redacted] to say the General Manager offered no apology is simply incorrect, as I did in fact apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.  As she was obviously going to have to come in anyway to go to the room, we are not exactly sure how much of an inconvenience it really was...   Mr. [redacted] actually offended one of our front desk clerks by telling her she had no common sense, when in fact she was simply following standard security and privacy proceedures. Housekeeping records do indeed show that they left a "Do Not Disturb" sign on their door when they went out, however he does not remember it that way.  We immediately had the room cleaned despite this in order to accommodate them. We do not change or ignore security procedures regarding registration or credit cards for anyone whether or not they were a "cop for 20 years."  Mr. [redacted] told me he was angry because we did not break the rules for him.  Again, I apologized if this was an inconvenience.  He said it was.  I told him again that I was sorry for the inconvenience.
