Please read the page letter from [redacted] attorney for [redacted] Response from [redacted] , Wingfield Ag & Lawn 10pt;">November 14, - I delivered mower to the [redacted] 's residence, the mower cranked on it's own to unload it and ample time was spent showing the safe operation of the mower to Mr [redacted] who demonstrated to me he was very capable of operating the mower I included a new air filter and pre-filter free of charge and explained to Mr [redacted] the importance of keeping the air filter cleanThe hour meter had hours on itDecember 21, - Mr [redacted] called me before 9AM and said the unit wouldn't start because the battery was dead He asked for a new battery and I said that I would give him a new batterySince he had just gotten out of the hospital, I agreed that we would come install the battery for him and we would try our best to do it the same day Mrs [redacted] called me shortly after that and insisted we come right away and threatened to 'cancel out on the deal' that I had sold her a defective mowerThe [redacted] s also called our mechanic, [redacted] times insisting he come to their house right awayBefore 2PM that day, [redacted] installed a new battery in the mower [redacted] noticed the key switch was in the start position when he first saw the mower [redacted] started the mower and let it run and checked the charging systemEverything checked out fineThe hour meter had hours on it At this point, the mower had run hours while in the [redacted] 's possessionNo further contact was made with the [redacted] s and they did not call either [redacted] or myself after the new battery was installed January 4, - [redacted] called me and said the [redacted] s contacted him that the new battery was deadMrs [redacted] called me and told me that she had contacted Sheffield Financial and that Sheffield told her to tell me to come pick up her mower and refund her moneyI asked Mrs [redacted] to have Sheffield call me [redacted] with Sheffield called shortly thereafter and told me that Mrs [redacted] had signed a contract with Sheffield to make payments on the mowerMatt also told me that any retraction of the contract would have to be between Mrs [redacted] and myself I called Mrs [redacted] , but had to leave a message for her Mrs [redacted] returned my call I said that they had a new battery in their mower and that they needed to charge the batteryShe insisted that they weren't going to charge the battery that I needed to come pick up the mower and refund her money I said that I was not going to do that and then she said that she was calling her attorneyI replied to that remark and then she hung up the phoneJanuary 5, - [redacted] from Dixie Chopper texted me that [redacted] had contacted Dixie Chopper on behalf of Mrs [redacted] and I texted back my version of the storyJanuary 6?, - [redacted] from Dixie Chopper called me and I told him my version of the storyJanuary 11, - I receive a letter from [redacted] ***I texted [redacted] that I had gotten the letter and he had received a copy of the same letterJanuary 12, - [redacted] , my Dixie Chopper territory manager came to my storeWe talked at length about the situationI gave [redacted] a copy of [redacted] ***'s letter [redacted] was going to visit the [redacted] s later in the day [redacted] saw the mower and noted that the hour meter had hours on it At this time, the [redacted] s have put hours on their mower

December 21,
2015 - Mr [redacted] called me before 9AM and said the unit wouldn't start
because the battery was dead.  He asked
for a new battery and I said that I would give him a new battery. Since he had
just gotten out of the hospital, I agreed that we would come install the
battery for him and we would try our best to do it the same day.  Mrs [redacted] called me shortly after that
and insisted we come right away and threatened to 'cancel out on the deal' that
I had sold her a defective mower. The [redacted]s also called our mechanic, [redacted] 2 times insisting he come to their house right away. Before 2PM that day,
[redacted] installed a new battery in the mower. [redacted] noticed the key switch was in the
start position when he first saw the mower. [redacted] started the mower and let it run
and checked the charging system. Everything checked out fine. The hour meter
had 8 hours on it.  At this point, the
mower had run 5 hours while in the [redacted]'s possession. No further contact
was made with the [redacted]s and they did not call either [redacted] or myself after
the new battery was installed.
January 4,
2016 - [redacted] called me and said the [redacted]s contacted him that the new
battery was dead. Mrs [redacted] called me and told me that she had contacted
Sheffield Financial and that Sheffield told her to tell me to come pick up her
mower and refund her money. I asked Mrs [redacted] to have Sheffield call me.
[redacted] with Sheffield called shortly thereafter and told me that Mrs
[redacted] had signed a contract with Sheffield to make 48 payments on the
mower. Matt also told me that any retraction of the contract would have to be
between Mrs [redacted] and myself.  I
called Mrs [redacted], but had to leave a message for her.  Mrs [redacted] returned my call.  I said that they had a new battery in their
mower and that they needed to charge the battery. She insisted that they
weren't going to charge the battery that I needed to come pick up the mower and
refund her money.  I said that I was not
going to do that and then she said that she was calling her attorney. I replied
to that remark and then she hung up the phone.
January 5,
2016 - [redacted] from Dixie Chopper texted me that [redacted] had
contacted Dixie Chopper on behalf of Mrs [redacted] and I texted back my version
of the story.
January 6?,
2016 - [redacted] from Dixie Chopper called me and I told him my version of the
story.
January 11,
2016 - I receive a letter from [redacted]. I texted [redacted] that I had gotten
the letter and he had received a copy of the same letter.
January 12,
2016 - [redacted], my Dixie Chopper territory manager came to my store. We
talked at length about the situation. I gave [redacted] a copy of [redacted]'s
letter.  [redacted] was going to visit the
[redacted]s later in the day.  [redacted] saw the
mower and noted that the hour meter had 13.9 hours on it.  At this time, the [redacted]s have put 10.9
hours on their mower.
