To whom it may concern:
-0.35pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">I, [redacted] ([redacted]), was working as a Wings N More Restaurant manager on April 25, 2014 during when customer ([redacted]) asked me to push two tables together to accommodate joiners to his party. I offered to accommodate the party in our patio area where there was availability of tables to push together or the option to place them on our waiting list up front for a larger table when one became available. At that moment I was unable to comply with his request due to the fire hazard rules we must adhere by and for the safety of my employees and customers, I explained to the customer and his party that joining those specific tables together was not an option since rearranging them to his needs would block one of the main walkways and could potentially create a fire hazard. If I would have catered to his demands I would be placing other customers and staff at risk. Mr. [redacted] became intensely upset arid began to elevate his voice making remarks and referring to me as an "[redacted]" and stating those tables needed to be placed together because he was a lawyer. Due to the inappropriate language he was using around my customers and their children I had no choice but to inform him that I couldn't comply with his request and seeked further assistance from my Sheriff on duty. I had offered to place all their meals in to go boxes and therefore expected payment for what they had already
consumed. Mr. [redacted] continued to insult me in front of his colleagues and my customers and staff. I was embarrassed at the situation since most of my customers are regulars and realized what was occurring. I continued to explain that by placing those tables together at his request I would be violating a fire code and if a fire occurred many of my customers would be unable to exit properly; therefore placing them in danger. Mr. [redacted] paid for what he consumed and declined my offer to place his order to go and then exited the building. I would rather personally refund him $26.00 then place my customers and staff at risk; therefore, I know I've done my job by securing the safety of my employees and customers by complying with all the fire hazard codes.
Thank-you for your time,

Complaint:[redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Mr. [redacted] response contains numerous falsehoods (not to mention using personal identifying information against Revdex.com complaint policy).  First, he made no offer to re-seat our group in the patio area and in fact did the exact opposite, refusing to seat us in the patio area because he was reserving it for a large group.  Second, I never raised my voice and never used profanity or derogatory language.  Third, his contention that I ordered the tables to be pushed together because I am a lawyer is silly.  I never discussed my profession with Mr. [redacted], who must have gathered that information from one of my colleagues that evening or from the Internet.  I have five witnesses to the incident who are willing to tell the truth about what happened on April 25, 2014 and perhaps a sixth witness should the uniformed sheriff's deputy be willing to tell the truth about what he witnessed as well.
Mr. [redacted] response also fails to address the other option regarding re-seating to other open tables, not including the patio, within our dining area.  I certainly understand that pushing tables together to block a walkway may inhibit customer movement, but there were other open tables in the same seating area inside.  Additionally, the tables we asked to be pushed together were adjacent and would not have blocked the walkway.
Mr. [redacted] response is libelous in that Mr. [redacted] knew it would be subject to online publication and in that it contains several factually inaccurate and defamatory statements.  Its intent is clearly to discredit and harm my professional reputation, as was Mr. [redacted] goal when he threatened physical removal from the restaurant.
I would like to reiterate that I asked for a refund of $26.00 and asked for an apology from the business.  I was not seeking a cumbersome resolution, but Wings N More has failed to even provide this request.  Additionally, I was contacted by a man named [redacted], who said he was investigating this incident and asked for a call back.  I called for him numerous times and was told that he was unavailable or that he would call me back.  He never contacted me again.  I can provide his voicemail to the Revdex.com if necessary.
Clearly, this restaurant is concerned with maximizing its profits without regard for professionalism and customer service.  The manager on duty, Mr. [redacted], has unfortunately chosen to attempt to cover up his misguided actions using lies and inaccuracies.  Since this complaint was not resolved and since the business has been unwilling to speak with me further about it, I will pursue legal remedies to resolve the situation.
Regards,
[redacted]
