This complaint was related to a resident transfer from one unit to another The resident, while well intentioned, made the process more complicated and triggered several delays These delays were all related to paperwork that is required by law when certain topics or situations arise Through no fault of her own the resident brought up several of these topics, I believe having no idea that it would trigger a specific, legally required process to play out.It took time to address the issues, aggrivated by the slow response to our requests by the resident, and by the additional meetings requested by the resident Again, I do not believe any of it was done intentionally Certain items and topics can be very slow in housing in order to ensure all are treated fairly This is simply an example of the system, though well intentions, being cumbersome to all, including the resident, in this case.At this time the transfer has taken place I have attached an email in which I offered nine days for teh resident to complete her transfer instead of the standard one day I also included a second follow up email If more documentation is generated I will upload it and update this respnse
