Ms [redacted], purchased a 2015 Nissan Altima from us on 05-9-2016, signed all the necessary documents and took delivery of her car. She decided a couple weeks later that the payment was more than she wanted to pay and when we were unable to trade her out of her vehicle she got upset and filed a...

complaint with Winner Autoworld. She also informed us that she could trade the vehicle in at another dealership and lower her payment, but she insisted she did not want to lose any money on her purchase.

Attached is the odometer statement acknowledge on 07/14/2014 by Mrs. [redacted] when the vehicle was sold accurately reflecting the mileage at the time of 43,708.  The vehicle was titled shortly thereafter by Delaware Division of Motor Vehicles and there was no notification of mileage...

discrepancies.  If there was a mileage discrepancy, the DMV would not have titled the car.  Listed below is the text from a letter sent to Mrs. [redacted] yesterday with our final decision on the matter.  The vehicles was in her possession for over a year prior to claiming there is a mileage discrepancy which there is not.  There is no records of our company every working on the car again after the sale.  Quite simply, Mrs. [redacted] is responsible for her car once purchased, not Winner, and Winner has no ability to manage the use or security of the vehicle.  An exorbitant amount of time has been spent researching the matter and responding to her claims and the decision stands.  There is nothing that can be done to address her concerns.  She is responsible for driving and adding miles to her car.Text from Letter:July 20, 2015[redacted]

[redacted]Dear Mrs. [redacted]:Thank you for bringing your concern regarding your 2009 Nissan Altima to our attention.  We take these matters very seriously and have done extensive research on your claim that there was a change to your mileage while the vehicle was in our possession. This letter servers to notify you of our findings. On July 14, 2014 record was made of the then current mileage of 43,708 and your acceptance of this mileage was noted on odometer disclosure statement (attached).  After that time, there is no record of your vehicle being in our possession again. If you have documentation to the contrary, please forward it to [email protected] is now over one year later and the vehicle has been in your possession and not ours at any point during this year.  We find that there is no possibility that we were involved in the incremental mileage added to yourvehicle during this or any other time.We never like to disagree with a customer but it is without precedent that a customer would claim that we were responsible for adding mileage to their car when we have not seen the customer in over a year.  We had no access to the ongoing use of the vehicle, the security of the keys or your daily routines.  In our opinion it is only possible that you or someone to whom you entrusted the vehicle could have caused this mileage increase. There is unfortunately nothing that can be done to address your concern. If you feel that you need to take this matter further we would suggest that you notify us of your intentions to submit the matter to your attorney and we will in turn submit the matter to our insurance company.Kindest Regards,[redacted]        [redacted]
