This company hounded me every month to make my $105 payment early and I did but when the time came for me to ask of them, there was no cooperation. My daughter attended one week of class in March and then COVID happened. The company tried taking their classes virtual but it was horrible and not worth the money. Because of my daughters health and compromised immune system, I cannot put her back in regular class for her safety so I requested a refund for the month of March. I was told a refund check would be sent in the mail. Nothing came for 2 weeks, si I emailed company and was told there is no refunds what so ever and they NEVER send refund or checks in the mail. I have the emails to show otherwise. Why have they gone back on their word and why wont they give me back MY money?

The following is my statement regarding the complaint received by ***. Winner’s Gymnastics strives to provide excellent and above average gymnastics lessons to all our members. We ask that each member pay their monthly tuition on the 1st of the month and no later than the 3rd of the month. This is a policy stated on our website that customers accept and agree to before enrolling in classes. Another listed policy that they agree to is the one that states we do not refund any tuition under any circumstances. This policy has been ongoing since our business opened 10 years ago. I will provide attached documents showing our policy regarding tuition.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic Winner’s Gymnastics shut down in the middle of March. ***’s daughter attended classes 4 times that month. She paid $105 for 2x a week classes. All in all, she attended half the month of March. The pandemic hit our families hard, as well as the business. We understood that we had to provide some type of support for our members given we closed in the middle of the month. In the month of May we decided to give our members credit to their account that they can redeem onto their account whenever they return. We would keep that credit on their account until whenever they decide to return. For example, if their account had $45 on it, when they return that $45 will be subtracted from the total tuition they owe when charged for enrollment. This was sent out to all our members, so they were aware of the outcome of the situation. Given the pandemic, we are unable to refund accounts.
I will also provide attachments of supporting documentation including conversations with ***.
Unfortunately, we will not be refunding the account.
