The only reason I am giving this company a 1-star review is that the Revdex.com doesn't allow zero star reviews. While the technician was prompt to arrive and diagnose the issue, he never returned to complete the repair, and refused to respond to repeated attempts at contacting him. The only positive part of this experience was that no money actually changed hands. ***

*** I have attempted to contact them at the number they provided, and all I get is a full voicemail message.

We called Scott on Friday April 25th for service on our furnace that had stopped working. He said he would come by on Saturday afternoon. He never showed up. I called and left a message at 530pm. It is now Sunday,I have called 4 more times..no response. Bad customer service. Why say your coming and then not show up or return calls.

Recently had a new furnace installed by Winnipeg Gas Pro. My wife and I are very pleased with the quality of workmanship, excellent service and reasonable cost. We recommend this company for anyone who has a heating or cooling issue.

I highly recommend this company! Scott knows what he's doing. He had what I thought was my finished air conditioner up and running like new in an hour. I will call him again in an heartbeat when the need arises.

Winnipeg gas pro always answered any question I had over the last year's usually has the best price and they seem to care and put in more effort then any heating company I ever used I was very impressed with their positive attitude and I continue to deal with them for all my HVAC and electrical needs the best thing is if I'm not happy about any issue,, Scott in particular takes the time to completely take care of my concerns, I appreciate this kind of effort in a ever changing world of shady businesses, take my advice you can't go wrong with these guys at wpg gas pro, thx guys, call me again next year please.

Scott came over and promptly hooked our gas bbq up to natural gas. And was very helpful.

I found the business on kijiji and used the service to satisfactorily look after a certification for a gas hot water tank. As the owner was leaving my home I mentioned a problem I was having with my Gas cook top. He indicated he could repair it and I said I would think about it.
The next day, he called and asked if I wanted it repaired and I told him to come over. He took apart one burner and left with the component part. (The unit required a new igniter). I had advanced him $100.00 for service call paid by cash.
He phoned me later and told me the igniters come in pack of 4 and were $25.00 @. I said ok and he came to collect the money for the parts as he had to pre pay his supplier.
He then phoned back and told me I would also require a Pizo Igniter (main Part and some o-rings) These totaled $135.00. He came again to collect the cash and I paid him. He gave me 2 receipts issued by him for The parts, plus taxes, plus the service call all totaling $355.55
He indicated the parts were on order and would take a few days. This all took place March 18 and 20th.
He called several times to say the parts had not come in. Someone else, (a female ) called to say the parts would be in in 3-4 days and I never heard back.
He finally told me he would go to his supplier and get my money back. Since then he has not called nor will he answer his phone. He has my part and my cooktop is useless without it. I have called him and left a message that I want my part back but he will not return my call .
I have e-mailed him and again no response.
He lives close by me and I see his truck parked so I know he is around. I have the receipts.He has my part. If I have to get a new cooktop because he wont give me the part back it is going to be expensive.

Desired Outcome

Refund I would like him to return the part he took off my cooktop. If he can refund the money I paid him great. If not I will write it off to bad judgement on my part. If I have to buy a new cooktop because he won't return the part I will take him to small claims court

Tried to get am out dates piece of equipment at great length and effort to me. Once I was unable to find this piece I promptly returned the difference owed to the customer after hours of My Labour driving around trying to find this piece I did my best.

I was told from the start that he had gone and paid his supplier for the parts and was waiting for them to come in. There were issues with the parts of which I was never informed of. The total cost of parts to me was $265.00 and I also paid $100. for service. I only got back $100. of the parts. I do not mind paying for the service as he did come to my house. however they have since told me I would get the rest of my money back. We will see what happens

My gas furnace was down so call Scott *** ,Winnipeg Gas Pro came on service call , he said inducer motor(Venter) need to be replace, I gave him $500 cash for parts.(Friday Night) he brought Venter motor and installed, and still same issue, he side heat exchange may be creak so need to install new unit. I agreed to get new furnace , I get second opinion with authorized dealer personal ( Heat exchange is good).
So make is short, Scott *** fail in ***, not returning $500. ***
Unprofessional and no business sense personality. Do not deal with him.

Meanwhile one day prior tho install this customer changed our verbal agreements and negotiated prices. Costing me money and time.
No positive communication had been received since experience and this customer had misrepresented himself and the actual events leading to this response...

Scott *** installed a new furnace and hot water tank and said he will get the permits, Scott was paid in full for the permits but did not provide them and after 3 weeks later we tried to contact him but his phone number was disconnected and now we are out the money for the permits and now we have to pay for some one to come and check it out because we smell gas and Scott his not returning our calls ***
