Vehicle is booked and paid it is Standard Limousine Rental Policy to withhold 50% no matter how early the cancellation is. Many companies take only a 50% retainer, and don't return anything. We take 100% and return 50%. On ALL our limo contracts we have that 50% cancellation fee that we read to all our - customers and then we check it off, next to the Credit Card information, and hers was check off. Even if she doesnt remember that being read to her, as most people just say yaya as its read to them) she is still held to the Industry Standard of the 50% cancellation fee.
We are going into our 30" year of Limousine Operation, because we deal with such emotional highs with Weddings, we can have couples book a year ahead, and cancel the week of the wedding because the wedding was cancelled. With large group vehicles we have customers trying to cancel because someone in the group may have a motorhome, and can transfer everyone for free. This is why there is a Standard Limousine Cancelation policy, and everyone in the industry that is an established Limo Company collects the 50% retainer. - -
