We had a very sudden, and pretty gross event in our basement, due to some sort of pipe breach. Too icky to describe but suffice it to say, it was an emergency. Winters has been our plumber since we moved here 14 years ago and they have always been friendly, efficient and quick to respond. When we first called, all technicians were busy and, panicked, we started looking for alternatives, none of which suited us. Fortunately, we got a call back from Winters within a half-hour and not long after that, Jesse showed up. He was respectful, properly masked and diagnosed the problem WITHOUT CHARGING A CENT. He made some suggestions for a fairly easy fix which he said he could do but would cost us, and so he directed us to *** for the part we would need to address the issue. We are eternally grateful for Winters' speedy response, and for Jesse's kindness and expertise. We'd be hard-pressed to call anyone else, ever.

Michelangelo D showed up promptly, ran into an unexpected problem fixing the first toilet and discovered it was a preexisting problem. It was difficult to fix but he persevered and resolved it, so that the toilet is working better than ever. He resolved the problem with the other toilet's sticking float and used the same preventative treatment on the other toilet. We were very pleased with his work and resolve to solve our problems. He kept us informed through out the process.

Jesse H thoroughly checked my central air conditioning system to be sure it was ready for the summer season.

I have used Winter's for 10+ years to maintain my heating/cooling system. They have always responded to emergencies promptly when called. Their technicians (most recently Vincent H) have always been knowledgeable about my particular system, and check it thoroughly when performing the yearly maintenance on both systems. I was very happy with Dave's service. He came promptly, knew what he was there to do and performed it efficiently. His conversation was friendly and professional.

The Friday morning I was going to call Winters to make an appointment to have our 20 year old heating system checked over, we awoke to a cold house. Winters had a full schedule, but "worked in" Ken to come over and check it that day. He obviously knew his way around the *** boiler (installed 20 years ago). The combustion air blower had seized, preventing the boiler from operating. A replacement blower was not available locally, so one was ordered, along with appropriate piping to replace deteriorating exhaust piping - delivery expected for Monday. Ken offered space heaters to maintain house temperature until the boiler could be put back in operation.
Monday afternoon Ken replaced the blower, and tried to replace the exhaust piping, but when the old piping was taken apart it was apparent that there were issues with the way it had been assembled. Ken tried, but was not satisfied with the result. He came back the next day with different exhaust pipe parts and a different approach (replacing more of the old pipe) which was successful.
The system is working well, and the exhaust piping is clearly in better shape than it was when first installed. Ken is the Tops!
The cost estimate before proceeding was honored, despite the need for additional work.

We had an emergency with the furnace leaking badly. Ken was amazing, and so kind! I would recommend him, and Winters to anyone, and I have already told my friends!
