Ok so the first call we went to at this customers home 3/30/17, it was pointed out that he needed some work done, as the sink is very old and corrodedThe technician explained he could clear the clog, but it might not fix any leaks that will occur after snaking the drainThe customer called back on 4/3/and stated the sink was leakingHe was explained to on the first call that this could happen if he did not go ahead with the work the technician quotedThe customer also filled out a survey giving the company a out of [redacted] , [redacted] completed survey:[redacted] did a great job and has a wonderful attitude.3/30/3:PMWe went back out on 4/4/17, the same technician, and another employee of winters arrived at the house, and tried explaining to the customer the same thing he had stated on his previous visitThe customer at this time got very argumentative, and did not want to listen to anything the technician wanted to sayThe technician, and the employee who was being trained both told the customer they were going to leave if he continued to yell at them, customer told them he would never use us again, and to just leaveSo the technicians did just that.Mr [redacted] , also tried disputing this charge with the credit card company, and they would not reverse itI gave them the same information that I am giving you We do not believe he is due a refund for work he knew might cause something else to occur.Please let me know if you need anything else,.Thank you,***

All- Some items for clarityOur client did pay for priority service as part of a maintenance plan for heating and cooling, not a faucet.We did not install the clients original *** faucet he has mentionedThe client was looking for us to bill *** for any repairs we would make on his
faucetThis relationship does not and has never existed between the owner of the faucet and the manufacturer, basically he wanted it done for free and Winters should worry about billing ***This is the root of the issue not the maintenanceThis client has received multiple visits at zero charge from this companyWe have supporting documentation as well as recorded in bound callsAs a point of clarity WE DID NOT INSTALL THE FAUCET, and the faucet has been discontinued by ***There is zero refund due to the mentioned maintenance plan, this has zero to do with his faucet

The response from the business is a complete fabrication. The sink was not leaking before the technician came and he did not indicate any problem when he snaked out the clog and put the drain back together. At the time, everything looked normal and the technician had indeed been very pleasant to work with. When the sink was found to be leaking the next day, I called the company and, when the technician came back, he kept insisting that he had warned me that there was corrosion. That was simply not true. When I said I did not recall him saying any such thing, he became very rude. I told him I did not like his attitude but not once did I raise my voice. He apologized and I told him I was prepared to pay extra anyway to have the leak fixed. He went out to his truck to get a price for the job and then, inexplicably, came back inside, jury-rigged the drain back together loosely and with duct tape (!!) and then I heard him leave. I ran outside and found him about to get in his truck. I asked him what was going on. He said I should get someone else to fix it. It was unbelievable.  My own analysis is this. The thing that got him really worked up is that, when I saw the drain's parts after he had taken it apart, I saw that there were holes in the drainpipe. I asked the technician why he didn't call those to my attention at the time when he was putting the drain back together the first time. He realized that he had done a shoddy job and it was his responsibility to fix it. He either damaged the drainpipe himself the first day or didn't tell me that it needed replacement in hopes that he would be able to get a second billing for a repair. But my question to him probably made him feel that I would balk at paying a full labor charge the second time when I could have avoided that if he had fixed it properly the first time. In any case, I am done with this whole experience. I had to pay someone else to come fix the drain and all I want to do at this point is caution other customers from using this business. They seem to be very dishonest and have zero professional pride.

Winters Home Services prides itself on giving up front pricing and multiple repair options to all our customers. After reviewing this customers invoice prices were given before the job was started with options on other repairs. We are truly sorry about the confusion and will refund Mrs. [redacted] the...

whole amount paid. ($275).

This complaint has already been addressed, and taken care of months ago. There was some confusion on both parts with they warranty which has sense been addressed. The customer is happy and has been taken care of.
