However, today I made a mistake and was able to call and the staff went over and beyond to assist me.
It's so nice to be around positive energy in this very cruel world!
Not a very cooperative bank. Asked to have a negative item removed from my credit report that they were reporting to with one particular credit reporting agency and they refused to remove it claiming that it was not their "policy" even though this same record was removed from the other 2 credit reporting agencies. This 1 negative item is preventing me from refinancing my 7 % sub-prime mortgage. No sympathy at all from these people.

As was explained to you during previous correspondence, Delaware Place Bank does not choose to remove bankruptcies from individual credit reporting agencies. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, chapter 13 bankruptcies can remain on a credit report for up to 10 years after the filing date. Early removal of those items is at the discretion of the credit reporting agency. The criteria for which those items are removed are in no way controlled by the Bank. In order to avoid violations with UDAAP regulations, the Bank enforces a strict policy of not removing bankruptcies early.

You are being totally unfair and holding my credit hostage. All of the other creditors from my filing were removed except yours. Your statement is contradictory to what I was told by one of your bank managers last year via telephone. I do not agree with your assessment.
